December XBLA deal: Buy two games, get 400 MS Points free

The only bad thing about these deals is that I've got nearly every game on that list from the last two deals.

@Ezio Auditore da Firenze The interesting thing here is that all those games cost 1200 points, so this is actually a "spend 2400 points get 400 back" instead of 800.

I used mine on both Monkey Islands, like a week back.

Back in October they had a special going on where if you spent 2400 you got 800 points free.

It was on anything so you didn't have to 'sign-up' for it like with this one which is why you might not have noticed it was going on.

@MrMonicle It isnt as good as October. However it is endless better than the April deal WHICH DID NOT EXIST.

I don't lead empty, vapid life, however I do want to know why they didn't just give us the same same deal that they did about a month ago...30 bucks is 30 bucks and for 50% less points than last month, why would I bite? Last month got sonic 4 super meat boy and geo wars for that same 2400 points and was able to use the 800 point refund to get undead nightmare. Unfortunately next to geo wars, there aren't many quality things you can get for 5 bucks any more on xbla... question for you: whats the last great game that launched for 400 points? case zero? sorry I have DR2 already with chuck leveled to 35 so that level 5 character import really isn't

Even the black Friday "fire sales" (only 2 games? >_> ) didn't do it for me since I bought splosion man (which I love) at launch for SoA. At least put the writer on sale for alan wake as that's the one most people would buy (assuming that they got the signal free w/ new copy which I did). Based on what I saw we got a lot of old content "discounted" and even less discounted more than 50% which would most likely bring the price down to about 400 points since the new default launch price of 1200 points is being pushed...So, again I ask you, what can we get for 400 points on xbla besides a light saber (lol are they kidding) or some xbla launch games and old dlc? When ponying up double and sometimes even triple the points you get back just to get another worthwhile release, it doesn't really seem worth it to me. I like deals and this just isn't one that's worth it in comparison to to what they ran for gamers JUST A MONTH AGO.

The reach map pack isn't an arcade game.

@Fuzunga As much as I loved Limbo, spend them on ilomilo. I'm playing through it right now and the game is so insanely fun.

If you haven't bought Limbo - buy it (and whatever one game) and put the points you get back towards Ilomilo. Limbo is a great game. Sure you'll have to buy more points, but you'll be in puzzle heaven...

they sent 400ish but they still owe about another 400 and its been weeeeks since I ordered them

@KyGuyTC7 They'll come. I've done several redeems through them. Sometimes it takes just a week, sometimes 6 or 7, which in the meantime gives me time to earn more points.

Read the disclaimer, it says products could take up to 4 months to arrive or some large amount.

That's not true. There was the October sale and it still had good games come out in it.
