You want to know some bullshit?

Now when they air the movies on TV, and the special edition DVD, they censored out the word "terrorists". When it gets to that part, Marty says "please" twice instead of terrorists, and when it shows his letter, they have removed the word.

Instead of inserting jokes I posted quotes from the first movie.

"Great Scott!"

"This is heavy."

"Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out that he'd melt my brain."

"I've never seen purple underwear before!"

Quite cool for sure, but the Delorean is still one of my favorite cars of all time. Not a speed demon, but I love the industrial "futuristic" styling of the 80s and the Delorean captures that perfectly. It's just missing one of those mid-80s talking digtial dashboards. :P

Have you seen a DeLorean in the wild? They look even better than what you see in the movies. The low profile, wedge shape, and matte stainless steel finish gives it an all-business look thats so utilitarian. Awesome car.

@Chibi Chaingun has nothing to do with crash testing from the 80's it's just the way the car was built. Plain and simple. Fiber glass frame= bad.

They didn't have a fiberglass frame, they had a fiberglass underbody.

Anyways, my point was that most cars did terrible in crash tests in the 80s. Especially sports cars.

@Chibi Chaingun The frame would be the under body your talking about, yes, frame, Uni-body, under body, what ever they happen to call the part. Is made of fiberglass. Wouldn't use Wikipedia next time :)

Maybe you SHOULD use it since you used the term frame and chassis interchangeably down below in another comment and the chassis is not fiberglass. It's steel. :)

The DeLorean was the worst built car in the history of automobiles. Heavy stainless steal on the outside and a weak fiber glass chassis. Mr.DeLorean was so high on coke he thought it would be a good idea, only to get busted with a large amount shortly after production started. If either on of the games did this car right, on side hit would split the car in two.

Doc: Marty, he's in a '46 Ford; we're in a DeLorean. He'd rip through us like we were tin foil.

Dude, the Delorean didn't have a fiberglass chassis. It used almost an identical chassis as the Lotus Esprit. It had a fiberglass underbody.

@Chibi Chaingun Dude, your barking up the wrong tree here. I've been in auto body for over a decade now. Just let it go. learn more about car's then come back and have a conversation with me. The fiber glass chassis/under body was used as weight savings for the heavy stainless steal body panels.

@Chibi Chaingun No, The thing about car's is much of the time things like chassis frame under body means all the same thing and are interchangeable. Doesn't matter how i say it, it's the same. Sorry to confuse you. In the case of the delorean, The "frame" is in fact made of metal, and glued directly to the metal is where the "underbody" is bolted/glued then the stainless steal is glued to that. See you underbody is the chassie/frame. There so little metal used the may as well not included it at all, it dosn't help the car become any safer. At the end of the day, the car's supporting base. is made of fiber glass. Does that make you feel better?

I didn't feel bad in the first place. I was just correcting you that the "chassis" is steel, not fiberglass. I'm not talking about the stainless steel panels either or the fiberglass body, I'm talking about the chassis, which you mentioned in your post was fiberglass.

Seems you have no knowledge of history.

The DeLorean Motor Company was in financial trouble, one of John DeLorean's friends asked him to take part in some deal. He had no idea the deal involved drugs. He had no idea the deal was a sting operation. After he invested into the "deal" his friend mentioned, he was busted.

He was later found innocent on all charges. He was NOT busted with a bunch of coke.

@Drakkenfyre If i had no knowledge of the history then I wouldn't have know the biases of it. He did know about the coke and he agreed to it and put the money up to buy it. He knew what he was doing, but got off because they agreed that if it wasn't a set up from the start. He would have dealt the coke if it wasn't a set up and would have been busted in the end any way. It was also well know that he used. sorry I didn't give a text book style explanation of the events that took place.

So, this is actually the JALOPNIK Community Choice pack, I'm not sure why they dropped Jalopnik from the title. It's in the article, though.

All I give a hell about is the 99 Turbo, the 242 Turbo Evolution, and the El Camino...and I suppose the 2002, maybe.

Though I will be buying the DeLorean as hard as I possibly can.

I actually decided to go get Forza 3 based on GT5's reviews. I ended up skipping Forza last year and just figured I'd get GT5 when it came out, but I think I'm going to let GT5 mature with some updates before I dig in. I waited a year for Forza 3, I can wait for GT5. Besides, I only have a racing wheel for the 360 right now. I gotta wait till everyone is selling their G27s for cheap sometime next year to play GT5 the right way. :)

No. No, they haven't. It's really got a niche on Xbox 360, it's not like the million and one FPS games.

Turn10 have done a decent job keeping it supported. The Storefront was also a genius idea. If you get tired racing, there's the decals to design, tune ups to tweak.

I reached level 50 a while back but I'm far from 'finished' with it. Forza's not that type of game.
