BlazBlue Continuum Shift DLC discounted now on Xbox Live, Jan. 4 on PSN

'Tis the season for Valkenhayn R. Hellsing! It seems that way, at least, as Aksys has announced a sale on BlazBlue: Continuum Shift DLC, including Mr. Hellsing and other downloadable characters.

Today through January 7 on Xbox Live, and from January 4 through January 25 on PSN, you'll be able to pick up all the Continuum Shift downloads at a discount. If you were ever going to pay money for a different color scheme for your characters, now would be the time, since those are half-off. As for more substantive downloads, the unlock for the character Mu-12 is just a dollar, with Makoto and Valkenhayn available for $4.50 each. See the full list after the break.

He's pretty tough to use though so keep that in mind. Not the hardest character to learn, but not n00b friendly either.

Just copped all of it.

Has the balance patch been released yet? Is Rachel still joke tier? I have not followed this game since CS came out, but wanted to jump back in.

Nevermind. I remembered that Continuum Shift 2 is coming out and then continued to not give a crap about CS.

@Alexisonfire wrong . Continuum Shift 2 is JUST the arcade version in japan getting updated with console patches/characters and story for the new characters.

it will probably be patched into CS console for a heft price , or they'll just save those stories for the real next game.

Chances are they'll ignore all that and just release the third and final game like they planned.

btw before people ignorantly waste money (as little as it is), all the characters are unlockable in game EXCEPT Makoto and Valkenhayn. And the colors.

True, but the Unlimited characters are unlocked in Score Attack, which is EXTREMELY hard.

So this isn't like "deal of the week" where you need to have live? My live ran out and I haven't gotten around to renewing it, plus my system is in the shop being fixed. I might pick up the DLC through the site, as long as it's available to silver users.

well the only dlc worth for this game are the makoto and valk and already bought them

I hope they release continum shift 2 for console eventually because im out of microsoft point for the holiday season...plus im not gonna pat full price for characters.

Still way too expensive. DLC characters is something that should NOT be done. The industry has gone in the wrong direction. The consumer is getting screwed.
