If only I didn't already own most of those games. :(

At least the Devil's Playhouse was worth it. Indecisive about picking up the King Arthur pack though.

I'm just going through Fallout 3 (I know, I know) but I picked up New Vegas because it's going to be hard to beat $25 for it any time soon.

Already have Borderlands for Xbox. Wonder if I should buy the PC version or save my money for something really good that might be on sale.

@zack11190 There are quite a few days left for offers. I'd wait a bit and try something new instead of paying (again) for something you probably already finished.

Or, if you have money to burn, get Borderlands, future offers and ALL indie packs. Those are the best deals around.

I came to the same conclusion regarding Mass Effect yesterday.

Don't get borderlands for pc. It is a TERRIBLE port with awful optimization and difficult to work around

@MCHamster

What are you talking about. The port was highly praised, the game runs perfectly. I've fininished the game 4 times without a glitch, running the game maxed out. It looks and plays extremely well.

@MCHamster in terms of graphics and stuff its fine and it does look a lot better than console..however, yes, gamespy, ruins it all for online..so annoying and really hard to connect...i had to use gameranger and tunngle to get lan to work cause mp wouldn't...so other than that, it is a very good port imo

@Foetoid

What are you talking about? The game was bashed for it's PC port. The menus are gamepad-riffic and the Gamespy online barely even works.

@Cleric I haven't played the MP but the SP works perfectly on the PC.

Links please for the high praising of the PC version?

Oh, you don't have any? Of course not, because everyone tore into that piece of shit.

That's a lot of first person shooters. Hopefully tomorrows deals are a bit more varied.

There's also the Daily Indie Deal Tommy Tronic http://store.steampowered.com/app/41660/

For the first time I am sadly to say I just can't buy any more games. Not because I don't have the funds but rather the fact so many deals have happening that I have close to 25 games backlogged that I have bought and yet to play. Steam, amazon, GoG, Xbox Live Arcade, and in store deals have all placed games in my collection.

@Stevetrop Man of Mystery

25? I think I have almost 100 and I keep buying more! I can't say no to cheap good (old) games even when I know I'll never have time to play them. I miss the simpler times when I only got a new game every 2-3 months...

Please put TF2 on sale, Steam. :( Yes, I know I suck for not already having it.

@blackangel209 Don't worry, it will most likely go on sale. They already had DoD:S and CS:S for $5 during the daily deals, TF2 will most likely have its own day as well.

It's already on sale. As far as I know, the entire Valve catalog is on sale at 50% off through January 2nd. That means Team Fortress 2 is $10. But Counter-Strike Source was on that deal too and now it's even less ($5), and Portal had a lower sale ($3.74) too so I'm hoping Team Fortress 2 gets an even better sale, lol. If not, well, I'll get it for $10 on the last day.

Overlord for $0.75 is a fantastic deal, as well as getting the Overlord collection for only $3

Just bought Torchlight for $20. Dang it! So, Overlord is worth a shot? Might check it out for $3.

@Golden Gopher 1984 I'd easily recommend Overlord. Just don't expect it to take itself seriously.

Steam's deals have been hit and miss, in my opinion.

Of course, their deal on Wednesday (or Thursday, I forget which) was Mass Effect & Mass Effect 2 for $10 each...

...and I didn't get it.

Fail. :(
