Given the tame price cuts on this title before, I had myself convinced they'd not drop below the recent sale price of $2.99 anytime soon, so I bought it Christmas Day.

Sure enough, within a week... ... ...

As much as I love Android, the game market for the OS is a mess... specially on my device...

I'm still using Android 1.5... I have a Motorola i1 and no updates are available for my device. I wish I could have a real smarthphone with Android 2.X... too bad I need iDEN and PTT for my work.

For you guys you have a good OS, enjoy the games!

You should do what I do. I did this for iPhones, when I had them, and it works amazingly well. Every 2 years (or 1 year if your plan allows), sell your phone on eBay. You can get 3-400 dollars for it generally as it's not too old, and people like phones without contracts. Then spend the 3-400 you have on a new phone and pocket the rest of the money left over.

In doing this, I'm always up to date, never have to worry about not being able to download games, and I haven't paid for a phone since the first iPhone.

PS: The new layout of the Marketplace is actually better than the iPhones imho. It looks really sleek with the new format change. Reminds me of XBL. Then again, maybe you mean "mess" as in, you don't know what you can download. Who knows..

You get what you pay for.

You cant buy a $100 Android 1.6 phone and expect all the features of a high-end Android phone.

Most of the issues with fragmentation are to do with hardware limitations rather than software.

Hmm, Why am I seeing it for $2.43 instead. I've searched for it in the Market directly, and from the link in the article. Anybody have the link that they used to get it for $1.29?

Im wondering the same thing also. It's $2.43 for me too. I wonder if it was today only, meaning "today" in Japan or wherever these devs are because I'm not seeing it for $1.29. And I'd bite at that price.

$1.20 was yesterday's Android price when it was 75% off and said FINAL DAY!! I guess it was the final day for that price since today I had to pay 200 yen for it. The market said it's about $2.41 but the actual charge was $2.44. I wonder if tomorrow will be 25% off with FINAL DAY...

It really seems like most of the unique and interesting games are coming out on handheld systems, nowadays. I wish they'd port them all to home consoles or PC at least.

I purchased this for my Droid 2 a couple weeks back for around $5 and haven't regretted it one bit. The game's fantastic, worth every penny, and probably the best game on the Android marketplace to date. Buy it!
