Dang, I missed Force Unleashed 2. Would have bought it for that cheap.

@Teancum If it follows Force Unleashed 1, you'll be able to get it for $20 soon enough.

I think $30 is more of a "reasonable" price.

I don't know why you got downvoted for this. I actually enjoy the game, but mostly because I also enjoy the show. The fighting is solid, but the cutscenes can be and voices, for some reason, dont always match up with the character animations, which is can be really bad/distracting.

I say that if you love the show, or previous Naruto fighting games, then go ahead with this one.

are the ear force headsets any good? I'm looking at the PC one that's on as of right now

I have the X41 for 360 and the only real beef I have is that if it's too close to a wireless router the sound will occasionally clip out for a second. It's kind of distracting sometimes, but the sound quality is really pretty excellent overall. If you like to crank your speakers but game late at night or have paper thin walls, it might help you avoid an eviction (or divorce.)

Oh, and definitely invest in some rechargable AAA batteries if you're planning on picking one up. It burns through them pretty quickly.

I assume you have the wireless set? The PC ones I ordered are wired so I think the only little thing I'll have to deal with is a reported bit of white noise during quiet gameplay. But most games I'll be using them for shouldnt be quite all that often.

Have these been featured on Amazon deals before? I wanna jump on this deal, but my bank account is a bit low. Any idea what price these might be?

@Parade0fChaos

I'm not sure if they're been available before, but there are various headsets for various systems going up throughout today. The deal for the set I bought is already over, that was the wired, general one (the X11) that is usable on PC and 360, but the gold box discount was only 7.25, so if you want that particular set its $50 (from Newegg too, fyi)

It'll be my first legit gaming headset so here's hoping it will be pretty good. user reviews all say its a great head set and that the main con is that there is a tiny bit of white noise when there is no game/movie sound. The cord is apparently really long too, but I dont see that as much of a problem. More a good thing.

@Mavrick593 I have the X41's for my xbox. They are phenomenal. I was actually surprised to learn that it's just stereo headphones and they use tricks with audio perception to enable the surround effect. Skeptical? check out this video to hear what's possible (use headphones)

If you're a fan of the series, you should like Ninja Storm 2. I thought the boss battle sequences were very well done with the quick time events & the characters are pretty fairly balanced. But the matchmaking for online fighting could be better.

@Walkdiesel Actually, that Naruto game is a bloody good game. I can recommend it to anyone interested in a fighting game, but don't like Street Fighter / Tekken.

Don't judge it just because it's a Naruto game, it stands well on it's own. But if you are a Naruto fan, get it now.

I really wanted to love Epic Mickey, but about 4 hours in the camera turned out to be too much of a deal breaker. The realization came when I was jumping on a cliff face overlooking the gremlin village and the camera did exactly what it should have done. I got so excited that I messed up the next jump and then I realized that never before have I been so ecstatic when an in-game camera just did its job. About an hour later I called it quits.

Picked up the Red Dead Nightmare. After my pre-order credit the game just cost me $4 for shipping. Glad I was online when it went live. Anyone know if the Ear Force X31 for the 360 are worth picking up? I have been looking into getting a headset but can't decide on which one to get.

Thanks for the review/tip. Will see how good the gold box deal is for the x41's & if my wallet can handle it I will be picking them up.

I'm interested on the DPX21 for my PS3. I just watched a video on the product's website talking about the surround sound, but the showed a COD multiplayer and that got me thinking, is this product only good for online multiplayer games or I can really noticed the surround sound play single players games?

Is it worth getting this headphone most for single player games?

You can tell the difference in single player games as well. I just played through Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and in a game with such carefully crafted audio, man, that 5.1 really puts you in the middle of everything.

Thanks for the feedback. I just hope that the DPX21is at least $20 off (since that thing cost $130 new on amazon).

Only 1 hour to go.

i'm quite underwhelmed by amazon's offerings for this gold box event. the undead nightmare is a okay price although i bought it on sale at target a while back for about the same price. the gta4 is no big deal...why can't they at least drop it to $20 (or less) like kmart had within the last month? how about some real deals amazon?! boooooo!

@SoCoolCurt It does not require or support MotionPlus.

If you're curious, a list of games with MotionPlus support is here (few require it): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_MotionPlus#Supported_games
