Still no filter by "rating" option. Still no "save" preferences (like chord numbering, and not having to choose "sort by artist" every time).

@mywhitenoise I'm with you. I hate having to change my sort options every time I start a game.

Also, I wish there was a way to set the game to never use the "music video" venue. Nothing worse than setting up a playlist, only to go into that terrible venue where it's almost impossible to see the notes and takes an extra 30 seconds to load each song. Whenever that happens I just turn off the game and go play something else because it's so frustrating.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind the sort by date option back. In RB2 I got in to the habit of playing through the decades as a sort of evolution of music over the years. Guess I'll take that one to the RB forum.

hm, is this a patch for wii, too?

at least this "The translucency of the track surface has been adjusted to make note gems are easier to see against the venue backgrounds." sounds good for wii as well.

all the other stuff... i didn´t even notice yet and i played for quite some time.

i think. i thought. i will check.

When has Wii ever gotten a software patch for RB?
The answer is a predictable "No".

@takahami - I don't believe the Wii has the ability for post launch patches unless I'm mistaken.

The Wii doesn't support downloadable patches, however games on the Wii can be patched.
The only game I remember having a patch released was Metroid Other M, in order to get it you had to post your SD card or your Wii itself to Nintendo.

Did they fix the long beards that don't animate properly? When they come into contact with your dude's chest, it just freaks out and looks terrible, so I changed the long beard to a short beard to avoid that issue.

They need to make it so when you make a play list, you can play it in random order, instead of being forced to play it in the exact same order every time.

Ok some of the stuff is nice, but how about the ability to save my Options? I grow tired of having to turn on Chord Numbering and disable Missed Sounds every time I play. You figure this would be easy to fix yet the problem still lingers.

The Rock hears that you got your self a little band Michael Cole. The Rock hears that you think your "Rock Band" has an eye brow of amazing proportions. Well thats all well and good. Tell the Rock something, Cole. You think your band can beat the Rock in a Rock-out competition?

IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK MICHAEL COLE!!! YOURE RINKY DINK BAND OF 4 MEMBERS AND YOUR GRANDMUMS SEWING CIRCLE FOR FANS?

The Rock has MILLIONS...... AND MILLIONS of fans! Take that up your five star and smoke it, Cole.

If you can smell what the Rock.... (game crashing eyebrow)

Is cookin.

So glad to hear about the vocal overdrive fix. When you're trying to turn it on (particularly for the challenges) and you end up blowing out your voice in frustration, it kind of makes it hard to sing..

@Rickmanx Well im sure instead of adding all the queen songs they possibly could have, an effort to support the mode they kept boasting about at every gaming conference would be nice. Instead, for such an 'exciting' idea, there are a total of maybe 80 songs with pro, most of which are one band. Seems pointless to have done pro in the first place. But since your a professional designer, tell us all why thats so difficult :) Oh and im sure I got down voted cause either most players sucked at pro mode, or just couldnt afford it.

I don't normally complain about lack of patches on the Wii release of games, but Rock Band 3 is a different story. The game is UNPLAYABLE half the time. Random lock-ups occur 90% of the time I play it, making extended sessions for, say, parties impossible. The microphone doesn't even work half the time, making a high-pitched screeching noise instead of the standard input. Controllers randomly disconnect themselves and I have to restart the game to fix that. Drums are nearly unplayable. Activating overdrive on vocals is more of a challenge than I Wanna Be the Guy. Probably a million other things I haven't even come across yet.

What puzzles me is that none of these bugs were reported in ANY reviews. From what I understand, these glitches were present in the 360 and PS3 versions on launch day.

"So rather than fix the problem with Overdrive not working, we're now making you hold a controller the whole time and change how you've been playing for 3 years!"

Yeah, go play most songs with cowbell/taps and try to deploy overdrive after those sections. Yeah...dont fix that or anything. Just keep punching vocals in the nuts.

At least they fixed RB1 songs not 100% certain talkie parts!
Oh wait....

After complaining tons of times to EA and complaing on the rockband website finally the patch has arrived. This is way overdue its sad that the buzzing noise let my keyboard useless untill today. I played 15 songs on keyboard today after the patch with no issues hopefully its resolved for good. And hopefully tonight i can sleep without crying myself to sleep like for the past 3 months. I hope next time Harmonix fixes there problems faster.
