I thought they were going to release it on PSN, as it was shown playing on a PSPgo during E3...

Lamesauce.

I sold my PSP anyway, am getting a PSP2 after it comes out.

@APV And now Square Enix can't use the "Disney didn't want this on PSN" excuse like BBS.

Fear not PSPgo owners! Now that all the PSP encryption keys are out, playing it on a Go will be as easy as pie

Costume looks fun, same for the shower scene. Each game has gone through changes also.

1. Turn based rpg
2. RE style w/ rpg gameplay
3. cover shooter with RPG stuff

As a longtime Parasite Eve fan, that is fine with me.

Aww, I was hoping for Jennifer Hale.

But Miranda's good too.

I am very excited for this game. Is it really that hard to make a PSN version for those with a GO or just because? Anyway, given a choice, I'll always take a physical copy, but it sucks that some won't be able to play this (for now perhaps).

Ya, and they wonder why people turn to piracy. The GO gets shafted way too often IMO. Kingdom Hearts and Crisis Core were huge bummers not to see on the PSN. Now this? Boooooo.

Yvonne confirmed that she was doing The Third Birthday via twitter months ago, but it is nice to know officially that she is Aya and not a supporting character. I hope she does her American accent voice ala Chuck, and not her real voice (Australian accent).

Now I just have to find my PSP...

... I can't wait, but this is weird. The game has been in producition for how long? And came out a little while back in Japan... But Duodecim comes out earlier and its only a 2 week difference in release in regions... Just a little lame. I hope Square keeps up their promise of trying to shorten release dates in regions.

I'm in love with Yvonne Strahovski, first she does Miranda in Mass Effect 2 now she is Aya in The 3rd Birthday. That woman is smoking hot!!.

@jmr1986 - I concur good sir. She is highly underrated as an actress as well. Chuck would have been canceled years ago if she weren't perfect at selling her character. In a world where freaking Morgan Grimes can end up in his underpants in the bowls of an enemy ship, she makes it seem real, and for that, she deserves a lot of credit.

She played Miranda?! Wow.

And also, since we're somewhat on the topic of Chuck... am I the only person who's ecstatic that Volkoff is still alive? He's definitely Chuck's defining villain (at least at this point) and he's probably in my top 5 of all time, so it was nice to know that he might be back to Volkoff it up another day.

@Sly C - He's the best villain/enemy they have going, since they kind of did away with the whole "ring" idea last season. He was much better than Shaw, for what that's worth.

If they are going to survive to see a fifth season, they'd better use the remaining ten or so episodes to set up some sort of conflict that warrants the additional time. *Spoilers for anyone that isn't current on Chuck* They wrapped up his mothers storyline, his fathers storyline, the "will they/won't they" element with Chuck and Sarah, and basically everything else that was set up in season one. What they can do to make the show last now is a mystery to me (long arc culminating in the Dad being miraculously alive? No body, no death, and we didn't see his body after all.)

@BananaBoat

I actually thought that's what the Volkoff arc was leading up to. When Chuck's dad's messages started coming in, I thought he was actually alive. And I'm not worried about Chuck's future. They've never had trouble coming up with stories. Besides, Shaw and Volkoff are both in custody. If they ever need a new story, they can just bring them back.

What the hell? Was considering a psp go, but what's the point if it doesn't get games. I see people saying they cannot wait for new PSP and the psp phone, but will Sony mishandle those as well? What is wrong with leadership at sony?!

@The Wicker Man

It could be square Enix's decision. Im sure Sony would rather both options, dont see why they wouldn't at least

Chuck is great, and I watch it all the time, but I still think this decade's version of Aya Brea bears a striking resemblance to Fringe's Olivia Dunham. If they ever make a movie out of the games (as opposed to the one based on the novel) I vote for Anna Torv in that role. As long as she doesn't mind being typecast as a detective/investigator of creepy scientific (borderline paranormal) activities that she has a strange medical/genetic connection to.

Any PE movie, no matter the cast, needs to include conspicuous flesh-colored body suits.

Unless Joystiq has gotten direct confirmation from Square Enix itself, it isn't a good idea to speculate that it wouldn't recieve a PSP PSN release here, given it recieved one day and date with retail in Japan.

So this girl is like 3 years old?

What is Japan's obsession with putting girls who are hundreds of years old into the bodies of loli girls and putting girls that are not even close to being legal into the bodies of fully developed women?

So effin weird.

Seems like a strange assumption that they would be "already" prepping this for the ngp...given that there is no information supporting that, and the console won't be out even in japan till the end of the year and even then you think one of the first titles square puts out is going to be a rerelease of a psp game?
Uh what...
