If you thought Anarchy Reigns' only inherent danger was the combatants you'd face, we've got news for you: Watch Jack dodge a giant chainsaw! Watch Jack outrun a tsunami! Watch Jack get ... carpet bombed?

"Undispicably?" Sorry, chum, that's not even a word. Perhaps you meant "indisputably." As in:

"Platinum Games is indisputably a developer of fine video games. You can count on them to treat you to an exhilarating game experience."

Or:

"Those who think that 'undispicably' is a real word are indisputably pea-brained simpletons who should go back to school."

I know it's a good deal MP based but i'm assuming there's going to be some kind of SP mode. Very interested in hearing more about it. Even if it ends up being like just some kind of level mode such as Power Stone.

(I don't know why but that's what this game reminds me of I don't know why)

@Jawmuncher: There is a single player mode. You play as Jack, and the other playable characters from the online mode act as rivals. I'm not sure if it's open-world, but it kind of sounds like it might be. The city you're in will apparently change in real-time (bridges will collapse, tsunamis will appear et cetera -- kind of like in the multiplayer mode), and you'll be able to take on a bunch of optional missions in addition to the obligatory story ones.

I'm getting a Smash Brothers vibe.

It's Platinum, thus it's must-buy status!

It is going to be embarrassing when I sing along to the words on the controller microphone.

hopefully it will be better then iron phoenix. that was an all melee game.

That trailer was sort of a kill-joy...but this game is still on my radar. So far Platinum Games can do no wrong in my eyes...

Cool. A game set in an alternate universe where the Makhnovshchina and the Spanish revolution survived long enough to meet up and overthrow capitalism, unleashing the potential of humanity. Right? Guys?
