Yes, Mega64's (second) spoof of Heavy Rain features one of the guys wandering through a mall on a very vocal hunt for Jason -- but that's not all. It also contains some of the most cringe-worthy moments of social discomfort that the troupe has ever, ever managed to elicit.

I recognized it as soon as it played during Heavy Rain. I was all like "zomg its teh gattacas!"

Seriously though, yeah. I was surprised that it didn't raise any one else's eyebrows.

Didn't they already spoof this with the cancer at Disneyland? That one was awesome.

Of course they didn't, where would you get an idea like that?

After watching this video, I'm reminded that real malls aren't nearly as crowded as in Heavy Rain. That must have been in booming economic times.
But really, they could have dressed someone up as a clown with a bunch of balloons...

mall of america is packed like that quite often actually. Thins our in areas but usually pretty packed.

@JonahStein The mall they are doing this in is also probably the quietest mall in san diego, hardly ever crowded even during holidays. that's probably why they picked it

This is the best skit in a while. I love when Mega 64 does their obscure, Remi Galliard-esque public things.

I get the feeling this is going to an intensely unpopular idea, but part of me wishes that these guys would start writing actual material that's funny (and I think they'd be great at it), rather than just continuously pissing people off for chuckles. It was really funny when they first started out, but the schtick has lost most of its appeal for me.
