Sega does its part to help Japan with gear auction
13
Delivering another fine example of the industry pitching in to help Japan, Sega is auctioning off a Yakuza track jacket, a Dreamcast hoodie and a ton of neat stuff, all of which you can see after the break. All proceeds go to the Red Cross, so you can dress like a geek but still feel like a champ.

I must have that Yakuza jacket. If only I could feasibly afford it considering how insane bids can get.

No joke. I am amazed at how much some of those things are going for. Right now, that Sonic lanyard is going for $66! I mean a lanyard, dang it! Seriously? That's crazy.

@cantwait2bhome It gets worse in the last minute of bidding where everyone zerg-rushes to outbid each other. Only noobs bid this early.

That Valkyria Chronicles poster art is so amazing. I want it so much but the bidding is currently at $305 and it's only gonna go up... but the more it sells for the better since it's for Japan and all. Man I wish I could afford to get that though

That shirt makes me wonder what a Sega branded operating system would look like. Goodbye beach ball and hour glass, hello Dreamcast symbol!

I really wanted to bid on a couple things, and I know it's all for charity, but damn they got out of my price range real fast.

I think he's wearing the Bungie Japan Relief wristband.

@Xiegfried Aaron's wearing a Phantasy Star Universe wristband actually, also rare, but not up for auction - maybe if we find some!

Aw, US-only. I would have loved to try and get that DC bag, the Yakuza tees and the model car...

@Rob Bourne When we set up the auction it limited us to US shipping, but we've since updated the individual auctions to ship internationally on all items.
