Yeah except... doesn't really apply here, because Fallon is a noted video game nerd and has a history of inviting gaming personalities onto his show. It's not like some corporate ploy, he actually pushes for them to come on to the show.

@Bighouse Yeah I read a great article on Jimmy Fallon in ROlling Stone magazine a few months or weeks ago and it sounds like he's just a really nice guy who honestly enjoys his work.

Same reason I'd jump in and buy nintendo stuff, just to play their exclusive games like mario, zelda, metroid, etc. Eventhough it's been done before, there's something in those franchises that makes us want to play. I'd probably wait for the second gen though. Hopefully, by that time Mario and the others will be out. Also, it depends on how long I can hold off. haha.

I believe this be my first handheld Nintendo system since the Gameboy Color.
Now I'll just wait till the right moment* to purchase it.
*and by moment I mean at some point in time at a later date after the rush and hoopla over it just releasing and I have that extra money to throw around.

That was kinda my feeling too. I wasn't too excited for them and thought I would wait until the next iteration to get one, but this video makes me kinda want to get one now...
I'll probably just wait until they release a special edition DS with the Zelda game. That's what I did with my DS Lite and it's worked great ever since :)

Except Zelda is expected to release in June, so likelyhood of them releasing special editions of the system THREE MONTHS after launch is extremely slim. I'd love to be proven wrong since I wish there were more color options, but three months is a little too soon for a LE system.

But this isn't a sales pitch as much as a tech demo for the viewers. It's not an infomercial, it's just getting some media exposure since outside of going to a store and seeing a demo unit, virtually nobody I know is aware of this thing that doesn't game.
