SOCOM 4 launch trailer is going to sneak up and stab you
14
Sure, there are plenty of guns in the launch trailer for SOCOM 4, but there are just as many (if not more) lethal sneak-up-and-stabs going on. There's also something about a "story" or whatever, but we're much more interested in clandestine assassinations.

This is the first game I ever tried Move with...
(The bundle was quite an attractive deal)
Maybe I'm just not used to the learning curve, but so far the Sharpshooter device is really unnatural. I may just be a gamepad guy at heart, but I'm willing to try some more; next, I'll try the Move controller without the Sharpshooter and see if that makes it any easier.
Maybe I'll pop in Killzone 3 and see if that's any better; I've heard nothing but good things about this peripheral.

Despite the less-the-stellar reviews, this trailer is great.

There is a learning curve for sure. You have to put the time in, figure out what works for you. In the end I find the Move/sharpshooter more rewarding and fun.

*sigh* how I wish this game was going to be like SOCOM 2 ... because Zipper was working at it. I mean just imagine how epic and awesome SOCOM 4 would have been if they even just simply did an awesome engine revamp and re-do on SOCOM 2 and just update a few things here and there ... but no :(
Too bad, I loved SOCOM but after the MP demo and subpar reviews, I just can't bear myself to buy SOCOM 4.
They should have just stuck to the game being about an ACTUAL NAVY SEAL squad, rather than a NATO spec ops team that only consists of 1 SEAL. It's what made SOCOM 1, 2, and even 3 a great game, it was just about Navy SEALS with a few British teammates from the SAS.

Socom 4 is a huge disappointment. I hope it completely flops so they know they need to make it like the originals...NOT COD. Idiots.

This ain't no tactical shooter anymore, this is an action flick. Reminds me of Con Air somehow (don't ask). And that movie was horrible.

Socom has been a bust for years, they should scrap it
