What's with statements like "But despite its crude exterior, a bit of genuine cleverness manages to shine through Hector -- though it takes its sweet time in doing so."? First the Mortal Combat review and now this one. How many times do you have to wrongly blanket assume that "crude" content is immediately suspect to extra scrutiny before you finally come to the conclusion that, yes, something can make naughty jokes and say no-no words while still being, by all means, very good? I'd go as far as to say that crude content is, in general, better than "clean" content, and that crudeness is not something that has to be worked in spite of.
