Sony: PSN rebuild complete, internal testing in 'final stages'

We're getting closer. Sony has just announced via the PlayStation Blog that work on rebuilding the PlayStation Network at its new data center is complete, and that its "global network and security teams" teams are busy testing it internally.

According to the announcement, Sony is in "the final stages of internal testing of the new system, an important step towards restoring PlayStation Network and Qriocity services." The company didn't go so far as to estimate when PSN will be back online for everyone, but it's calling this a "milestone" in the process, so we'll hopefully learn more soon.

i got it b 4 the blackout its not a bad beta only not that great either lol u will see wht i mean i mean it wasnt bad but i found the mechanics for the mission builder a bit of a pain!

No, this is the underlying structure of the service they are talking about. Like rebuilding an engine.

you guys are really going to miss the page views/ad revenue this generates I know......after E3 its going to go back to normal around here......assuming some more catastrophic gaming events don't happen.....

at any rate, I hope its back up tomorrow.....I need to snipe some people in game before I get jittery and attempt it in real life...
