@Arsenic13

Apply this statement to EVERY GOD game.

....hm..XBL G.O.D. I bet that wasn't a mistake on MS's part.

@Dukk420 Vanquish is really good. At least I think it is. It is a decent mix of a cover based shooter with a little flavor of traditional old school Japanese hardness.

I was about 3/4 of the way through when my PS3 finally died. I would highly recommend picking this up.

@Dukk420 It's not bad. But I wouldn't spend $40 on it.

Vanquish is worth a hundred dollars because it's fantastic, but you can probably find a physical copy for less than what they're asking.

Just be thankful that you have a system capable of downloading stuff.

Not everyone likes to buy discs - Some people would rather to download them onto a console just in case their xbox breaks like they always do.
Some like it for many other various reasons that I can't be arsed to list off.

I'll admit that there are a couple times where I strongly thought about buying a game off XBL. They were $20 games so I didn't feel it was so bad.

Speaking of Velvet Assasin, whatever happened to JoystiQuitter?

I've been wanting to get Vanquish for a while, but $40? I haven't checked what it is here in the UK, but I'd guess £30. It's around £12-15 on disc, delivered, just about everywhere I've looked. I'm waiting for it to drop under £10!

Honestly, if these Games-On-Demand games were reasonably priced I'd have picked up quite a few right now but they're almost always double the price of your favourite online retailer and I can't justify that in this financial climate.

I bought Vanquish for something like $30 when it was brand new thanks to a k-mart deal. It's still on my backlog though.

Velvet Assassin was an interesting attempt at a stealth game.

Vanquish being £29.99 is a huge ripoff. I just bought a new copy of Vanquish and Bayonetta for only £10 each last week at HMV.

Wow, 30$ for Dirt 2... I remember buying it for 2$ on Steam a while back on sale.
