I have this game paid off and can't wait for it to come out. MW3 needs to show something really impressive for me to get that as well.

I agree, and I assume MW3 will not have anything different that is worth a second glance. As much as I detest the COD series, minus WaW which I actually liked and thought was a refresher back to WW2 gaming days, who would be willing to drastically change a FPS format that still reels in millions of buyers?

Well, for me, it's not an issue of "either...or." I'm a fan of both and am pre-ordering both.

get over yourself, any COD game at this point doesn't need to impress you, that game will sell well and BF3 will sell well too, but COD will obviously sell millions.

Well, Imma guess that they do the same thing here as with BC2 and MoH, so you only get the weapons early. They're not exclusive to the "Physical Warfare Pack" buyers.

@Insane Koala A full game that it's the same one since 2007, same graphic engine, same gameplay, same recycled maps. At least EA charges 15$ for a real expansion pack. Have fun with your game...

That was the first thing that caught my eye, I got the witcher 2 for £25 and that was the premium edition with all the extra stuff. Thats the main advantage of pc gaming at the moment, brand new games are so awesomely cheap.

well im not sure which one I will be getting yet, either for PC or Xbox. but its a pretty good deal. It's funny how the COD lovers are trying to create a point but are failing miserably as they know their future of loving COD is crumbling beneath them.

Where as BF is inventing new things and trying new ideas to improve.

I hope its as good as BF2 and BF2142. Bad Company 1 and too were fun, but they didnt have that huge map epic feel that the former had. Although, I played BF2 and 2142 on PC and BC 1 and 2 on console, maybe thats why they felt so different.

Even on PC Bad Co. 2 feels small compared to BF2 games. Fun but still pretty small.

1st time im gunna be suckered into purchasing with GAME/Gamestation.

Which is a shame seeing as i'll never get to take advantage of the prices places like Asda will surely give. But excluding the shotgun everything else is exclusive to the pre-order (and quite possibly to be released later as a paid "expansion kit" or something). But something deep inside of me simply must own everything this game has to offer.

I'm sick to death of these 'limited editions' that consist of nothing more than a few early unlocks and slightly different box art (usually with a metallic effect). It's starting to get like the early 90s comic book market; turning mass-produced tat into supposed 'collector's items', limited only by how many they can sell. How long until we get games with 3-4 different covers that link up to form one panoramic picture? Collect every one, kiddies... they're bound to appreciate in value!

They're great GAME arent they?
EA's press statement of: "the Physical Warfare Pack will be available at no extra charge" and GAME, one of the 2 exclusive companies (GAME own Gamestation too, coincidently), suddenly they have a £35 edition, and the standard one at £30 still.
So 'no extra charge' and yet GAME decide they will charge more.
I havent looked, but expect Gamestation to be doing the exact same thing.

I really want to pre-order it NAOW! But I'm waiting for Steam to get the pre-orders up and running.

I'm hoping that the beta will be like the Gears 3 beta where MoH Collectors Editions & the press get a week early access, then everyone else who has pre-ordered a week after.

Battlefield 3 will be arriving at retail in a regularly priced "Limited Edition," encouraging folks to pre-order the game before its planned fall launch.

This is why I love Battlefield. I can spend the same $60 on the LE that I would on the reg edition and get a little extra for my loyalty.

Suck on that Activision.

CoD has done nothing innovative since MW2. There have been 3 CoD games since then. With Forstbite 2.0 on BF3, they are pushing the envelope.

Dare to say, this will be the best Military FPS to date.

So ya.

Suck on it Activision.

no doubt it will be better but I'm certain Activision is not losing any sleep over this. Activision could release a new map pack for MW2 (not even blops) and it would outsell this game.

I have 0 interest in MW3 and SO can;t wait for BF3, Frostbite 2 looks amazing and the hype EA is building is great!

Strange they are doing a single player but even better more for the money.

Infinity Ward and Activision will no doubt sell a ton of copies for a second rate game made by 2nd rate companies. which is sad cause mw2 is one of my favorite FPS's. Shows how Much the people IW fired meant to the game if they had to bring in 2 other companies to make MW3. GO BF3!!

I love both series but when cod releases against battlefield...I end up ignoring cod. Yes cod will sell more but that is because it is a relatively simple game for run-n-gunners while BF series requires teamwork and strategy and communication.

I cannot wait

I do agree that Modern Warfare 3 is going to be very popular and I'll be picking up both games. But dont be surprised if MW3 sells less than previous installments.

A lot of people bought Black Ops and were burned by early issues. The continual fall in quality of the series is gradually coming to the attention of the masses.

According to Amazon's page, BF3 includes LE expansion pack and other loosely defined "extras" in the US, as well.
