Could Layton games be a system seller for me? I have never owned a DS and with the travel involved in my current job I'm considering it. Any thoughts?

If you love puzzle games, you will love this game, it's mostly riddles tho, but I really enjoy these games with the story to it, the ending to unwound future made me cry :(

I say, find one, see if you like it, if you do, get the rest :) Sometimes the puzzles are too hard for people, my little brother couldn't get past 40 puzzles so he got stuck in the game, so he stopped playing it. Layton would be disappointed :(

A huge fan of puzzle games and riddles so it sounds great. I guess I'll give it a go. Thanks!

A small warning though......many puzzles can be a REAL challenge, even if you invest all your hint coins ( you can get 3 hints per puzzle) they never give you the full answer, so it can get really hard or you could end up looking for the answer. but the game lasts a lot of time, so if you travel a lot and likes puzzle this one is a must.....

That'd be impossible to solve, Layton would have to find Commander Shepard's favourite store on the Citadel.

Hanar citizen: "This one would happily help you fight the Reapers, were it not confounded by this puzzle. Perhaps a mutually beneficial arrangement can be found?"

Paragon reply: "I'll take a look at your puzzle, and maybe wash your car, with your permission."
Middle ground reply: "Does the puzzle involve the fate of the galaxy? Because that's what's at stake here."
Renegade reply: "What's really puzzling is why a squid thinks I like being jerked around."

I would buy this game.

If London Life doesn't get included in the Western release I'll be really sad as it sounds AWESOME.

A series I entered with trepidation as wasn't sure if would like. Now all 3 sit complete, with future plans to watch the film and play further games.

Awesome series. Willing to get Layton on any device.

I've never played Layton games but they look fun. It's great to know that they're translating the last DS one, because it sucks when a series doesn't get completely localized. That being said, I wish the 3DS one had been translated already.
