How come I don't see anywhere what they are releasing on? Did they just make a game but don't know where to put it?

@rockandrollpaul 2nd to last paragraph:

"An actual release date is "not quite official yet," acccording to Vance. "We're talking to people." The team definitely plans to bring the game to the PC later this year, and it's practically made for Xbox Live (as you can see from the screenshots above), but Haunted Temple is still in talks with Microsoft."

The Circle for movement and attacks was actually first used by NiS in one of their lesser-known PS2 games (Was somewhere in the middle of Disgaea 1 and 2, so I suppose it simply got lost in the haze).... No idea why it didn't catch on.

It sounds very interesting. I love Indie titles.

Was it the original Phantom Brave that used the circle SRPG movement? I thought that was really interesting when I first heard about it. I didn't have a PS2 at the time, so I didn't buy it to check it out though.

Yess, Phantom Brave. It was very fun, units could move in any area within their circle, and Cones and Lines were often used for spellcasting and abilities. Similar to say, Tabletop wargames.

Very intrigued to see how the system is used in Skulls!

Thanks for covering this. I saw a quick look I think on Giant Bomb and added it to my list of titles to monitor. It's been all quiet for the last few months, so it's good to see some signs of life.

People don't like math? Sad.
