Interplay was huge in the late 90's with PC games. Made some great games. I guess they couldn't convert to the console world.

I was terrible at this game...but it was a ton of fun on macs (both the original and then it's copy on the Mac, called Armored Alley).

Hope the reboot is just as much fun.

Oh man, this game is a day one purchase for me.

My childhood consisted of sitting in front of the old Apple IIGS, playing The Last Ninja, Ultima II, The Bard's Tale and Choplifter...to death.

As long as...wait, what??

This is being made by Brian f*cking Fargo? Creator of The Bard's Tale???

Nostalgia just had a baby with Awesome...and its name is Choplifter HD.

F*ck a day one purchase, I want this shit right now.

Joystiq Indie Pitch is weird.

One week we have a 18-year-old kid talking about his iPhone game. In the next, we have the former owner of Interplay talking about a game that is likely to make to XBLA rather than XBLIG. I don't think it measures up, really.

Ok, I think I saw zombies. If there's zombies, I'm in.

Don't worry, a Federal Mandate has got you covered.

As per The Equal Employment Opportunity for Undead Individuals Act (EEOUIA) of 2007 (P.L. 107-193), which stipulates that every game released after August 12th, 2007 must include no less that three zombies, be they whole zombies, or merely pieces of formerly whole zombies which, when combined, amount to three entire animated corpses.

Ironically, this bill was initially sponsored by Sen. Thomas Eagleton (D-Miss.), who died in March of 2007.

Eagleton's zombified corpse would shuffle into Congress later that year to cast his "yea" vote just in time to enact the EEOUIA act into law...but, only moments later, was tragically shot in the face and set on fire by Sen. Chris Redfield (D-Col.).

C-Span's ratings were never higher.
