Hopefully this doesn't get pulled off of XBLA a couple of years after release like the first Double Dragon did :(

...to ten?

@Fire Walk With Me

Yeah, I can't imagine any DD game (except maybe the SNES one) deserving more than a $3 price point.

@baby sea tuna I keep searching for some glimmer of hope that Game Room pack 14 will one day be released but to no avail. A Void of information.

@baby sea tuna I would much rather have this or the original. I could never get into the SNES version. Too boring for some reason. It didn't seem to have as many moves or variety if I remember correctly.

I'd have to disagree... the NES version of Double Dragon 2: The Revenge would easily get $5 out of me, and I think it's the best in the series. Probably even $10 if it's a good port with proper online support. It's one of my favorite NES games, and one of the best brawlers of all time.

DD2 for NES is one of my favorite NES games of all time. I loves the controls with being able to attack in front and behind you. I also really liked faking a jump kick and then uppercutting the guy instead.

I remember battling it out with my friend on the NES version. It was the most fun with a console brawler you could have prior to SF2.

Who has the rights to that DD fighting game by NoiseFactory from last decade? I think it was called RAGE OF THE DRAGONS or something. I wouldn't mind that on XBLA/PSN.

oh man- i hope it's the NES version of Double Dragon II.
that game was (and remains) soooooo good. it makes the first and third Double Dragon's look like idiots.

If Double Dragon II is coming out, then why the hell will they not put the first one back up? I can never find anyone online to play through DD1 with me because the game's delisted.

Double Dragon II was the first game I ever bought with my own money and I loved it very much. It didn't have the character growth elements of Double Dragon or the excruciating difficulty of Double Dragon III but it was a great beat 'em up.

Was this the one when he reaches out to grab onto the helicopter and the subtitles say "G-R-A-S-P"?

Am I the only one hoping it's the original arcade version (with new HD sprites)? Anyone can find the NES version much more easily than the original arcade version.

Plus, the part where you have to fight in front of the farm machine where you have to hurricane kick over the front harvester part that pulls out every few seconds is classic!: See http://thumbnails.truveo.com/0001/F0/09/F0099E9C55E266EA90A0DD_Large.jpg

Just make a game starring Abobo, with the goal being to crumble all brick walls in the world. Sort of like Rampage, but with Abobo.

Was it just me, or was the game pretty tough to beat? I remember the only way I could do it (NES Version) make it a 2 player game, beat up the other player and it would give you en extra life every time you killed him.

Not related but I wish I could get my hands on the arcade version of Ninja Gaiden...loved that game.

As a small kid I was mezmerized by this on NES. The helicopter at the end of level 1 was heavy enough, never mind the rest of it. Awesome game.
