Bleach: Soul Resurreccion comes with free episodes of Bleach anime

We can't explain why NIS America's new Bleach game is called Soul Resurrección without getting into some impenetrable lore, but we can tell you about the stuff you'll get when you buy it. The first printing of the PS3 game (out August 2) will include vouchers for downloads of episodes 190-192 of the Bleach anime. The offer is available in both the US and Canada.

In addition, for discerning Bleach fans, NIS America has announced that the North American release of the game will include both Japanese and English audio tracks. Both, judging by the title, will include a little Spanish.

Santa Ana, Calif. (July 19, 2011) – NIS America, Inc. is proud to announce that the initial launch of
Bleach: Soul Resurrección will come with 3 downloadable anime episodes of BLEACH (episodes
190‐192) from PlayStation®Network. Also, the game will support dual‐audio voices, meaning it
will have both full English and Japanese voiceover tracks. The voiceover language can be changed
through the options menu.
EXCLUSIVE OFFER RESTRICTION
To redeem the free episodes of the anime series, you must have a PlayStation®Network account.
The voucher codes will only be offered on promo cards in the initial shipment of the game and
must be redeemed at the PlayStation®Store by August 2, 2012. Valid in U.S. and Canada only.

GAME INFORMATION
Based on the popular BLEACH animated series from VIZ Media, Bleach: Soul Resurrección depicts
the battle between the Soul Reapers and the army of evil Arrancars that threaten the peace of
the world.
Bleach: Soul Resurrección gives players the sensation of single‐handedly destroying Hollows and
Arrancars and evil spirits with lightning‐fast sword fighting action. Gamers can relive the
experiences of various characters from the anime by closely following the original story. The

Hope this bleach game is good. so many have failed before it.

@afcop The Sega one's have since those are the only ones that was localized. If you have played the Heat the Soul series then you sir have played a good Bleach game.

Heat soul, like the previous poster stated, is indeed an wersome game for the PSP, this on the other hand, having played the import is a load of garbage.
It more like a crappy dynasty warriors.
try the demo on the japanese PSN and you will see what I am talking about.

yeah i have played the heat of the soul series for psp. they are pretty good for fighters. I am talking more of the lines of the Wii games other main consoles.

@krios Yeah, they should of included the Aizen vs Ichigo episodes SUB only since the US dub isn't there yet.

The title is related to the storyline it covers (the latest canon). There were a lot of Spanish words used in that arc.

Wow episodes 190-192 huh? The anime is on episode 330 right now in a new filler arc because it caught up to the manga again after the arrancar and aizen were all defeated and Ichigo became his sword.

You would think they would end the series once the main villain is defeated and the hero loses all his powers. As much as I love Dragon Ball Z, it became the template for dragging an anime/manga series on far longer when it should have ended at a certain point. Bleach is following this "keep making it even though it's gotten pretty bad" style like a paint-by-numbers book.

If the game is as good as the anime is, I'll definitely be avoiding this one.

@Armor Lulz. Bleach is like if Dragonball Z, Ruroni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho had some kind of freak love child together. Anime these days is so derivative and unoriginal.

@Rumpintime I'm assuming the only reason Rurouni Kenshin was a part of this three way is because there are swords involved. All else aside I don't see any reason why such comparisons would be made

@Rumpintime Probably like that lol, but out of the big 3, Bleach is my least favorite with One Piece on top (One Piece is my all time favorite manga with DB right behind it.).

dunno why people like one piece but yet hate bleach for some reason. The current arc of the manga is bad tbh, but the whole series is a good one.

I was kinda hyped about this game until I knew it was a Dynasty Warriors clone. As a Bleach fan tho, I guess I'll support NIS' effort to bring it here... maybe that way we'll get better games in the future.

I'll pick this up in a few months when its $20 or $30.

Why havent they released another Bo-bo-bo game that would be epic.

Resureccion is referring to the technique used by the arrancar to awaken their soul cutter and transform into a more powerful hollow state.....there you have it.....my nerddom for today

The Bleach DS fighting games were actually the best fighting games on DS.

One Piece games please

All the good One Piece games are on the Nintendo consoles. Console games on GC and Wii, a pair of DS games, and a 3DS game incoming

On a side note, played the Japanese demo of this game and was not impressed. At All. But hey that's just me. I sound like a broken record, but I wish the guys who make the Naruto fighting games would do the same for other anime : One Piece, Bleach, Fullmetal, Soul Eater, Fairy Tail.

@RadioActiveLunch To be honest, I wonder why One Piece is popular at all. Everybody their own taste I guess, but there is really nearly nothing more stupid than listening to 3 otaku talking about the qualities of One Piece characters. Happened quite often on Japanese TV recently thanks to the anniversary. Seriously trying to interpret more depth into OP than Christians try with the bible makes you scared what those people might do in real life.
