am i the only one that thinks this game would be so much more awesome with kinect.

its the type of game i initially imagined when i saw kinect at all. gives that much more oomph to feeling like god. imagine raising your hand to create a mountain, or swiping to create a flood.

All in all this sounds like a purchase to my wallet. I've been looking forward to this game through and through, and I'm sure it'll be the biggest fix I've had since Black and White.

by mentioning Black & White I'm reminded of the dumb looking Monkey that took a year of my life away.

I'm liking the summer of arcade so far!

Black & White without that damn beast to manage does sound pretty great. Has it only been ten years? I'll miss the Vikings though...

Controlling this with a mouse would probably be a lot nicer and more precise, but you couldn't have just said that, could you? Nah. You had to be all snoody about it with your 'far superior' crap. WELL I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF IT, SABRAGE!

Good day, sir!

You mean like control issues?

Yeah, stuff like that is fixed by PC's. To boot, you can still use your sticks if you're so inclined.

When I can use a mouse and keyboard for more than UT3 on console, I'll be a happy camper.

@Dickhole Pasta Not playing a single player game on a better platform because you dislike the community is kinda silly.

I love controllers, hell I plug in a controller when I play games like gta or just cause, so I can have mods and the better controlling method.

Sims and RTS' will always be best on pc. Point and clicks may be viable on consoles with motion controls these days, but I don't see serious rts ever going to console.

Just like good platformers and spectacle fighters will never be as good on a pc.

@Sabrage I'm staying out of this debate, and just letting you know that your PC version of this game might be ruined, thanks to Ubisoft DRM.

Justin, can you be the only one to handle reviews?

Another good read from you and I'm definitely getting this one. You aren't the first one to express some frustration with the later levels. I hope it's not 'rage-quit' bad and I actually get to finish the game, but I'm excited for this.

I keep talking about it, but it just keeps blowing my mind that we keep getting games for 15 bucks that are better than many retail, 60 dollar games these days! Somehow, people still find a way to complain about it though...

QUESTION
"Why does God let bad things happen?" It's perhaps the toughest question for people of faith to answer. How is it that a loving deity, who cares equally about all his creations, let some of them suffer so terribly?

ANSWER
This is actually easy to answer. Genesis 3:19 was a pronouncement of death upon all mankind, "...for you are dust, and to dust you shall return." Thus, polluting the entire human race as sinners and thus, death is what we deserve.

"For just as through one man, sin entered into the world, and death through sin, so all men died because all men sinned." - Romans 5:12

The better question is, "If He is truly a loving deity, how was that love expressed?"

He did so by sending His only son into the world to die for our sins (John 3:16).

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

People think the God of the Bible is unfair for allowing bad things to happen. What we fail to realize is that no one deserves good and only by His love and grace does He send His son to pay for our sins which we can never pay ourselves (Romans 6:23).

You're wrong, the answer is:

"God lets bad things happen because he honestly forgot he put the exploding tree there."

I mean, it's right that for crying out loud!!

@TheMessenger Sorry, but the sins of the father falling on the son idea is morally bankrupt, and it's quite sad that you accept such garbage. The God of the bible as you describe it is evil. Good thing there is no evidence he exists.

That being said I would love to see a game that actually deals with theodicy. It would be tough because many God's are described as having unlimited power so forgetting to do something or mis-clicking would actually be impossible for God to do. He would do everything that he intended.
