@FriedConsole Square [FF Type-0], Atlus [Persona 2] off the top of my head.

With the Vita coming next year, Don't expect much more PSP support.

@AltairArcanum

FF Type-0 hasn't been announced for a western release at all. When asked about it S-E has always tip-toed around the issue. It's a shame because the game looks (and plays...Japanese demo is out) fantastic.

If you're just talking about Japanese companies supporting the PSP then there are tons of them. The PSP is still *huge* in Japan. But the vast, vast majority of these titles never make it out of Japan...

@FriedConsole I'm not sure about the chances of Final Fantasy Type-0 coming out over here, but you do still have three relatively decent games on their way.

First is Shin Megami Tensei Persona 2
http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/24/persona-2-innocent-sin-coming-to-psp-this-fall/

Next is Fate/Extra
http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/03/japans-fate-extra-fights-its-way-to-north-america/

And last is, well, it may or may not be your cup of tea, but there's also Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom
http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/12/aksys-games-on-localizing-the-hot-samurai-of-hakuoki/

I know it's not much, but at least two of the three games are going to be fun and both are only a few months off. Persona 2 hits next month and Fate/Extra hits in October. As far as the last title, I really don't care. But there you have it. It's not much, but it's enough to keep the dust from collecting on your PSP at least until the Vita comes out.

@FriedConsole Xseed brought us some tasty PSP games this year. But yeah, it's been quiet lately.

XSEED also has an unannounced PSP game in the localization works, which they should be announcing in the next few weeks. Supposedly, it's a horror title.

@DokiDokiBawanga I think you just mean "2 NIS games in one month". There has never been a good Atelier game.

I absolutely cannot wait for Disgaea 4. Artbook soundtrack and hundreds upon hundreds of hours of playtime. It's gonna be grand.

Hahaha...you've never played a Disgaea game, have you?

If you dislike grinding then stay away.

@Kevadu

You can get through each Disgaea game's main story with minimal grinding. Stick to a core group, balance and upgrade equipment frequently, jump into the item world maybe once or twice, pass a few bills, and maybe reincarnate your guys once or twice and you won't have that much trouble.

Anything beyond that and grinding is probably needed. But its the most satisfying grinding you'll find.

For Atelier Totori I'm sure you won't have to grind at all. The main gameplay is the alchemy assignments. You'll have to go out of town occasionally and obtain items for the alchemy but the monster battles are pretty easy. I'm playing Atelier Rorona and I haven't had to grind yet

Yeah more Disgaea!!

Hopefully this new protagonist will be better than Disgaea 3's.

Although as long as Vic Mignogna isn't voicing him it should be fine. That guys voice is like nails and razor blades going across a living chalkboard that screams like Vic Mignogna when you run nails and razor blades across it's face..

So glad I am in internship this year. Disgaea is going to eat up so much of my time this fall.

And considering how (relatively) barren this winter is looking, I'm glad that I have another game in the series I can sink hundreds of hours into.

I'll be there for Atelier Totori and Disgaea 4. The one thing I'm hoping for is that if there's going to be a time limit in Totori, I hope it won't be as bad as Rorona's. That had to have been the absolute worst aspect of that game.

Disgaea 4, Atlier Totori and possibly DIablo 3 Beta coming in the not too distant future? I never liked seeing the sun anyway.
