Heres hoping they focus those interests into a reality, and give us something with this kind of atmosphere again. Id like to see what they can come up with.

PS3 version with Move support would be the perfect immersive way to play Amnesia. But I'd be happy just to get another fix on PC of course. I actually bought a new graphics card just to play the Dark Descent on my crappy PC. :)

Lsat I read they were porting it to consoles now it sounds as though they're not. I bought it for the PC but would rather play it on a console... shame.

@Pure Black World Tendency

How about a kinect instead? Can't really comment on the Move, but it seems like holding a glowing dildo ball controller really kills any kind of atmosphere.

@den69 You have obviously never played with a kinect if you think everything involves flapping your arms around, I prefer kinect because I believe it is more imersive than holding a wii..sorry move controller and swinging that around, and you might want to research what a troll is before you go throwing that accusation round.

@Sam Fisher

How else would you move the camera? You need a controller to mimick a mouse... Educate yourself foo'

@Pure Black World Tendency I was thinking the same thing as soon as I opened the first cupboard. The motion tracking would be perfect for the game and the ball could change color depending on your sanity level. It makes a perfect fit.

Really happy for them. It's very, very well deserved. Proper horror -- not the RE action nonsense -- doing well is always good news.

Really loved the game. I finished it a few weeks ago.

Like any of these games, I don't know how "scary", it is... but it's definitely atmospheric. I consistently felt tense in it. Some of the chase sequences, for example, really draw you in.

Worth the money.

@Softserve I don't really think any game is scary but if a game can convey dread and suspense I eat it up. While none of the dead space games are scary, they can get tense pretty quickly.

Always nice to hear an indie dev do well. Gives "weekend hobby" dev groups like mine a bit of hope, haha.

If possible, I'd love to see a spin-off or AMNESIA remake on PS3 using the PS Move. I admittedly like the on-rails DEAD SPACE EXTRACTION(PSN version) despite the Wii slightly-upscaled graphics. Or go fully functional like KILLZONE3. Either or.

But... but if they don't SUPER focus on horror, who will? They fill the niche of Ultimate Horror. Who would take that coveted spot? I mean Dead Space is tense but...

I bought this during Halloween last year and I've been too scared to play it.

@radioactivez0r Oh, it's not as bad as everyone says! There's even a level where you get to go for a happy little swim, and then an invisible friend comes to join you! :)

Well thats a shame, was hoping for a 360 version. Would even consider buying a Kinect if it utilized its tech well.

@Darki Dreamside
That would be welcomed, honestly. Especially if they pull an ETERNAL DARKNESS style sanity trick on players using the small monochrome camera box displaying the player. A 'monster' silhouette could appear behind someone while calibrating, haha.

It was a really fun game, and it would be great if they make another like it. Not a sequel, but something different but with the same feel to it.

Anyone who thinks this would work on a kinect is completely out of their mind, the game would have to be either on rails, or still use a controller AND be completely re-designed. It could work on the PS move as that's the closest to a mouse, but still, I think you'd get the best experience playing it with a KB/M.

This game was pretty nice though, I don't get "scared" playing any video game, but this one does give you that tension like you fell like you really need to run from what's after you. Such as the invisible creature in the water, or the guy who chases you all "silent hill" like.

PS Move is for pussies. honestly Amnesia or a similar game would be 100 times better on kinect then move because you dont use weapons and stuff why would you need a controller. the controls would probobly be similar to Sega's recent kinect game Rise Of Nightmares, to walk forward you place your leg in front of you. running is jog on the spot, turning around is turn your shoulders in the direction you want to turn, and because theres no weapons to hold your flashlight you hold your hand up, and to interact with stuff you use your other hand... it would be challenging and Scary. It would be so simple and if effective, a good, succesful kinect game
