You decide what goes in the Borderlands 2 collector's edition; also, a survey

Gearbox is all ears (and other limbs, internal organs and appendages -- they're not freaks) for the contents of the Borderlands 2 collector's edition, asking for creative fan suggestions to fill out its packaging. Post your collector's edition dreams in the official forum, or right here, as Gearbox has promised to read our own thread as well.

Gearbox also has a short survey for Borderlands players to fill out, asking questions about which aspects of the game were most important and why, ending with an open-ended suggestion box. For those low on free-form comment juices, feel free to copy this one with the appropriate words inserted:

"Borderlands was a(n) (adjective) game with (adjective) art style and (adjective) gameplay mechanics. (Don't) change anything in that regard for Borderlands 2. The storyline could be (more/less) cohesive in the sequel and the AI could (not) be improved. Also, more lasers."

As for what I'd like in the Collector's Edition, give me my own ECHO device. Functional or not. Preferably functional, but I can understand if you guys can't swing it.

Why are so many comments for a statue? Are there really that many people out there who use statues or do they all end up in boxes in your basements?

I actually put mine on my desk and shelves. I love getting stuff like video game figurines and statues with collector's editions since they typically don't make cheap ones very often and my inner child still loves having toys of his favorite series.

I, for one, still periodically check Amazon for a Cl4ptr4p figurine.
So, yeah, I would pay an extra $10 for a "Collector's edition" with special packaging and a neat little robot toy.

And, yes, I am a married father with a paid profession.

Character models would rock.

For collectable swag? Can't go much better than a Claptrap statue, maybe with different skins.

But for game content? More giant bosses like Crawmerax, less Underdome-like battles.

I want a statue of the Gunzerker dual-wielding two miniature versions of himself, who are also dual-wielding miniaturized versions of himself, so on and so on until they are microscopic in size...

A claptrap bobblehead. And/or a statue of the original vault hunters and new heroes. Either of those would be awesome

I like a middle edition that offers behind the scenes, soundtrack disc, mini art book and Steel Book case. Preferably for $70.

None of this statue crap, or included DLC that is paid for months later. I repeat, do NOT include any weapon or armor that I have to pre-order from 3 different stores and download. Put that shit on the disc, if you would be so kind. Thank you.

consider this a vote against store/pre-order specific guns/content. the only exclusive content I can stomach would be content that is included with ALL pre-orders, regardless of where you buy it from.

Honestly wish "Steelbook collections" for $10 more and you get a steelbook and maybe another item would become the norm.

Only collectors item I like is the steel book but I dont like paying $20+ for it and other crap I dont want :/

A Claptrap statue that can be removed from a statue scene that includes atleast one weapon dispenser (that has an LED on the inside to signify it is on) and maybe a bounty board or something like that. Nothing has to move or talk, but if the statue lit up to look as if it was in game that would be AWESOME.
