YES! I love and still play DC1 and I already know I'm going to love and play DC2 even after a year.

Harmonix's seal of quality. $5 export. Non-gimmicky Kinect use that works. Daft Punk. Day 1 purchase.

Thanks, Harmonix!

Great to see another good KInect game. We need a lot more of those.

Day one purchase here; already got it paid off.

My only complaint is that it doesn't seem like you can opt out of a couple of tracks and still progress. That'd be a wonderful addition. I'll gold star Kylie Minogue and Rihanna, but having to dance to Bruno Mars? Come on now, I have standards.

@Timjoy Jesus man it's not as good as Arkham City, it's saying "If you want to buy a dance game then this is a very good one to buy." Use your brain, dude. All the complexities of every video game can't be distilled down to a number between 0 and 5.

@Timjoy That is not how the star system on Joystiq works. 4 stars = If you love the genre you absolutely should play this game. 5 stars = A game for the ages that should be experienced by everyone. A 4.5 star is basically saying that fans of the dancing genre will be doing themselves a major disservice by missing out on this game. They are not comparing a Kinect dancing game to an action\adventure game at all.

@Timjoy

Read the "read here for more information" link at the bottom of the review, you moron, before you post your sad little comments here.

This site is full of intelligent readers who understand a game's value is based on much more than a score.

@Timjoy There's more to gaming than just Call of Duty and Batman.

Really? Because i have yet to see them. Anytime a game highly anticipated game by this community gets a low score, the users start a shit storm. Rememebr the Brink incident? http://twitter.com/#!/JustinMcElroy/status/67982314013065216 If any other game gets below a 4, I see more "NOT BUYING THIS" comments than i do anyhting else, especially if it's a new IP. So yeah, you pulled that "This site is full of intelligent readers who understand a game's value is based on much more than a score" line from your ass.

The 1st was a required part of any Kinect Library and the improvements along with track import just makes upgrading this year a no brainer.

Can't wait to check this out when it releases. Just wish they were doing the pre-order bonus here in Canada as it seems they are not.

I do hope they still have the original turn based dance battle mode in the game as well though as I'm not sure I have the space for simultaneous multiplayer dancing & losing the ability to play multiplayer would kill the game for me.

Not hating, but isn't it a little quick to have another sequel already? Could have been DLC, no? Or at least support the first one a little more.

The only reasons I'm not looking forward to DC2 is because I haven't yet five-starred all of the routines in DC1! :)

Can Xbox Live Silver members post to leaderboards, are there local (same console) leaderboards?

@set yes anyone can post to leaderboard on live. As for local I would think it would save your high score so yes?
