youtube is your friend. took me just a few minutes to find it. the main screen that comes up has five boxes:
upper-left: game disc
lowever-left: Recent Games
upper-right: xbox live promo
lower-right: xbox live promo
center: Games Collection
with a box highlighted, you can scroll through the list without clicking on the box. here's the video for reference

Well, if it's any consolation, I'm sure they will want a mixed user base, including people without Kinect so they can get your feedback on how the UI feels using just your controller. I still contend that Kinect seems much slower; it's quicker to press A than it is to hover your hand over an icon and wait for that circle to fill up.

However saying Xbox play disc while your in the kitchen is kinda convenient, but I agree they should have incorporated Child of eden controls where you just push forward to select

@FlashJS depends on how they do it. with Kinect voice, Forza 4 is much faster to get into the race or around the menus. no longer do you have to press A, A, A, etc. to pass through the menus. just say the words and you're in the race.

They have their perks sometimes. I was in the beta where they were testing their new disc format. When the Reach TU made those discs unplayable, MS gave me a code for the games on demand copy of Reach.

Looking forward to trying this out early. I just hope it doesn't have tons of bugs and screws up something I use all the time like creating parties and being in chats while gaming. Although they did state that all of that would work fine with people who still had the soon to be old dashboard.

@trunas How many people dont read the feature list for the betas? It was clearly stated last beta (Hint: Was plastured over the sign up page, the acceptance email, and the Connect website) that they were updating the voice chat codect so we wouldnt be able to use Voice chat, or parties with normal unbeta'd users.

I clearly stated that Microsoft said that it would work fine but that doesn't mean it will ( its a beta). I'm starting to think that all of you who do nothing but respond to other peoples post negatively, hate your lives......and for that sorry for you!

Surprisingly I'm actually looking forward to this dashboard update. It's visually appealing to look at and it looks like they organized things a bit better than the current setup.
