Look, just because it's Halloween season doesn't mean everything has to be Halloween oriented, okay? We love costumes and candy as much as the next website, but if we see the word "spooktacular" one more time we're going to straight-up gouge our own brains out.

Amazon, at least, has the common courtesy to run a non-festive, yet entirely excellent buy 2, get 1 free sale in lieu of the expected, ghoulish sales promotions extended by other corporations. The sale applies to a boat-load of fresh hotness like Batman: Arkham City, Dark Souls and The ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, so check it out if you'd rather spend $120 on new games rather than new cavities.

Good. Finally getting some more games for my 3ds...

Good deals on newer games, like Batman and Rage for $5 cheaper than retail and a free game with it, but a lot of the older games seem to have higher prices. Borderlands GOTY edition was/is $5 on steam...its $36.99 from amazon...weird.

I'm going to go broke at this rate...

I work at Target and there is glitch and games are ringing up buy one get one free. I just bought 6 games.

Bought Battlefield 3 and Dark Souls after my shift, thinking I would get Ace Combat for free, but when he said there was a glitch and that it was BOGO, I threw in Arkham City too.... best $108 I've spent in a while.

Seeing as how there are close to 850 items up for sale, it's going to take me that much time to wade through it all and make a purchasing decision.

This always happens i want two games and the ones i want are not out yet.

I would of loved to get Uncharted 3 and MW3 with this but by the time both are out they will be at full price. And i cant wait until Black Friday to catch a deal on these two games. If only i had more money to pick up other titles.

Hmm I want Resistance 3 and the Ico/SotC combo but nothing else really. :/

@DrunkRaba stay away from resistance 3. Its not that great. Im sure you could find it used for very cheap.

@imtheman aye I just really wanted to continue the story after the last one. Used was how I was figuring as well but if it would be free, then it would be fine!

They can't. It's a an issue with all the systems at every target. They just have to sell the. The register won't let u change it.

@Rikkjamesbioch I'd just rent Resistance 3. As I played through it's 8 hour campaign all I could think of was "man, I'm sure glad I didn't pay $60 for this".

Not a bad game, just not great. I liked R2 better.

I would love to pick up a bunch of these for myself. Alas, it's too close to Christmas. I've got others to think about. DAMN YOU Amazon! (shakes fist)

Good thing the sale ends on November 5th. I always miss out on these deals, so I look forward to actually buying some games; plus I need that time to sift through the everything available.

Yeah because I don't have enough games to play this fall.

They've jacked up some prices just for this promo. Take Dark Sector for example. You can literally buy that game for $1.00 (no joke). For this promo Amazon have upped the price to $19.99

I know Dark Sector is that low because it's on my wish list for whatever reason and I always think "I should just buy that because it's $1.00" but it's really about one of the last games I want to play at this point.

Buyer beware.

@iceveiled Not so much they jacked up the price, more like only new games sold directly by them (which are usually a more reasonable retail price) qualify. The game you saw for a dollar was probably offered used by someone's marketplace account.

I wish Xbox Live Points were eligible for the sale
