Is that old guy on the bottom right supposed to be von Karma? Isn't he supposed to be American in the Japanese version?

Most live action films these days get subs, if they are ever released here.

Me and many millions of non-english-speaking people who like english-speaking movies in their original audio.

The same with other languages, like Japanese ;)

You know, this'd be a great time to introduce Matlock to the franchise.

A foreign live action adaptation of a videogame movie? Yeah, just a few hurdles to jump there.

Most likely by the same studios that release Takashi Miike's other films here and most likely only on home video.

Your homework:
Go play Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
Available on Nintendo DS and WiiWare.

@Knives Chau
The games feature murder mysteries where people are seen as being undoubtedly guilty and you have to piece together evidence to poke holes in witness testimony on the stand and prove their innocence. The hook is the investigative work, alternative court setting in which the testimony is challenged dramatically (and comically) and the odd personalities of all the people involved.

Larry Butz? DL6? BLUE BADGER?????????????? This will go down in history as the best Video Game Movie Adaptation EVER!

Not that it has too much competition, mind you, but seriously. This is incredible.

Of course they'll all be using the Japanese names which will feature puns that only work in Japanese... unless who ever subs this movie takes the initiative to include a Sub track that is adapted to the english version of the game.

Well, let's hope the subbers love the series as much as the Earthbound fans love Mother 3. That was a darn near perfect translation, and it was much more difficult since it's, you know, an actual video game.
