This was such a great video, up until the point where *SPOILER**SPOILER* Master Chief, Skorpion, Ghost and those other game dudes came running in. It ruined the entire video for me... I was expecting a Left 4 Dead fan film, not some random meet-up of gaming heroes. What the heck does that have to do with L4D?

Still though, the production, special effects and first half of the video were great!

I was loving it until it broke my immersion with all the out of place characters. And don't give me that "why comment if you have nothing nice to say" crap, I put over 100 hours both left 4 deads, this is just constructive criticism. More please.

Fantastic effects, but really? If they wanted, they could have made Gears of War, Modern Warfare and Halo as fan-films instead of a mashup.

To be honest, I liked this, I'm glad to see someone didn't want to make something so obvious Sure it looked like it was an awesome L4D movie, but the suprise of all the other characters made me laugh, especially how they popped up from nowhere 1 after the other, I think that was hialrious.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Seriously, that was pretty decent right up until the nonsense. I'm such a hypocrite, because I actually liked Batman: Dead End when it first came out (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zn53yhjsDM). But damn, this was just unnecessary.

Same here. Also, I reaaally hate when the "sound designer" or whoever is responsible for the sound keeps using the same sound repeatedly. (girl moaning, screaming)

This went from "legitimately interesting and well-done" to "floundering and a goddamn waste of time".

This film is the definition of EPIC FAIL. It's completely bad ass and awesomely EPIC until the middle where it FAILS so spectacularly that it's unfathomable that anyone thought introducing those characters would be a good idea. I just don't understand the thought process.

That was fantastic. Just because it wasn't all L4D doesn't make it bad. The fact it was all so thoroughly unexpected made it so great. Don't knock it cause it wasn't what you were expecting. Praise it for being so far from what you expected.

Was it a true L4D-fan film? No. Was it a L4D fan-film? Totally. I enjoyed it immensely.

The actor playing Louis was pretty spot on. Zoey was a horseface, though.

I like how Ghost just randomly appears in their group out of nowhere. He should've been paired up with Old Snake, though.

As a big fan of Left 4 Dead, I didn't really care for this UNTIL the cameos happened. The film didn't do a good job at portraying the L4D characters, especially Francis. Sure, they looked alright, but their personalities didn't come through. Francis being so serious just didn't fit well with me.

Then the ridiculous stuff started happening and I was like, "Alright, that's cool."

That was awesome! Didn't expect Chief (or the others really) but it was awesome!

One of the first things you learn in film is to pick an audience. Don’t try to mix something serious with comedy because otherwise no one will take you seriously. And because this is exactly what you did this video will be forgotten in a week.

wtf is wrong with you people... damn... This video was very refreshing and a good laugh. But instead of just respecting it for what it is, you guys flame it... Shame on you! This is a fun production by a bunch of good people that had a great time making it. DONT TOUCH L4D OEEEEHHH! Quit beeing so serious and enjoy the video for what it is. A great mix of great game characters. (and I dont like any of the games, and I even enjoyed myself) Damn people are so negative these days...

As an Xbox fan, I didn't like all of the sudden characters appearing. Especially scorpion. He's not a legitimate Xbox character. So it was all Xbox characters + Scorpion.

As for the L4D part: I was thinking at the start of the movie how the characters in the film would respond to the special infected. When Francis left Louis for dead...it actually made sense. Francis never helped me out when I played L4D. It was always Bill (poor Bill...R.I.P old man...) So in a way...it actually fit. As for the rest it was well done. I wanted to see the survivors actually react to the threats because they're normal human-beings (just immune) as opposed to super-human Spartans, trained soldiers, and an undead guy who 1) doesn't fit into the Xbox realm (again), 2) is undead and 3) doesn't like humans (so if anything, he would have been the smoker). The action is well done and is what I imagine how they'd actually move and act. Everything besides the story progression is amazing and I hope they release a full 100% L4D short-film.
