On a related iOS wordgame note, WELDER is pretty fantastic. However, the app store still lacks one of my favorite word games of all time, Popcap's bookworm/bookworm adventures. I'd buy that in a heartbeat if it came to the iPad.

Thanks for the timely review as this just came out today. I saw some tweets about it yesterday and was looking for impressions. From the review I assume you played it on the iPhone, but did you try the iPad? I wonder if the same control issues would be applicable.

Is this a Universal app?

The controls in this game are a lot less clunky than SpellTowers controls, but that's just my two cents.

I was just given a $15 app store gift card. I will probably go for this game; what else should I go for? Because of course, I'm incapable of not spending my entire gift card immediately.

@TheHamsterplan I'd recommend "Powergrids" but I'm definitely a little biased toward it since I made it. :) Still, worth a look if you're into strategy/puzzle games.
