Threadless shirt quality is garbage. They shrink like mad after the first wash.

@chinedooo

Somehow I don't think that will be an issue with the avatar versions.

They do shrink but I find that the actual quality of the shirts is top notch. They don't start falling apart after one wear like every shirt I've ever bought at Hot Topic. And I like my shirts snug, when I'm not dealing with post-holiday flab at least.

Also, even as dirty as I feel about buying avatar clothes, I am very tempted to transfer Mister Mittens' Big Adventure from my wardrobe to my avatar.

@chinedooo

You can avoid the shrinkage by washing them in cold water and not putting them in the dryer. All I buy are Threadless shirts and I've never had one shrink up.

You're doing it wrong. My shirts fit same as they've always done. Do not throw in dryer or if you do (and prefer your shirt to fade) then get it one size larger.

I'd rather spend the money for my avatars clothes on real clothes for me at 6DollarShirts

Love that store.

So, all of your shirts contain useless memes?

God, I know.

Give ME your money if you're going to throw it away. Or to charity, that'll do too.

@VampireEater

Wow, you have to be a special kind of uncool to think Threadless, with all of their groanworthy pun/meme-based shirts, is TOO HIP.

I mean I own a bunch of their stuff, but I also have no illusions about my lack of coolness.

Seriously guys, too hip! ^

And yet, the only design that I would put on my avatar (being the only design I've bought for myself on Threadless) is not one of the ones available...

Gentlemen I want you to pull up your socks - you may even want to use sock suspenders for this next pitch. Picture an alien looking laser gun sitting at a desk in the oval office. We call this shirt President Raygun. BOOM! Send it to Threadless.

They need to include a code for downloading one of these shirts when you buy the real one.
