Doh! Only picked it up a few days ago at 2.99 only because of enjoying the XBLA demo. Oh well... very worth while. I think it fits the iOS portable platform better then XBLA... but hopefully they add multiplayer on the iOS version.

"As we approach a 1200 MS Point ($15) standard for games, five bucks is not bad for a bit of wordplay."

They can approach it all they want. I'm not buying anything at that price that isn't worth that price.

I actually think publishers are starting to back away from the 1200 pricepoint, unless the game contains good, longterm multiplayer (like NBA Jam or NFL Blitz)

See: Scarygirl releasing at 1200 and dropping to 800 one week later.

Only just noticed from the screens now, but the characters on the iOS version look so much better than the stand-in 360 avatars they've put in their place. Not much you can do about it I suppose, but just figured I'd vent

Seriously? You're only going to play "PANG" with those tiles?

Try PLANTING yourself in front of a few more books.
