I was going to put a well thought out argument down, but I figured screw it. Its just GTA with max payne in the title. There is literally nothing resembling the first two games at ALL. Rockstar really screwed this one up.

They have shown bullet time in some of the other vids. Bullet time and no driving is all that kept max payne from being a gta 3+ gta game.
Max Payne 2 was the biggest let down every anyway. I spent 50 dollars on that game (on launch day) and it was over in 4 hours. I remember being extremely pissed.

Considering the first game was just as long... MP2 was just as good, if not better than the first.
As none of us have played MP3, I think trying to make these qualified statements about how "un-Max Payne" it is are really unjustified and silly. Thematically speaking, I think it looks a LOT alike the first two games. Noir has never been limited to rain slicked city streets.
We'll all find out in May.

I love the animation tech they're using with this game. Seeing how Max actually holds the gun when moving around and doing all his jumps and stuff is a lovely sight to see.
