Alongside the addition of Chinese and Japanese language support for Might And Magic X, the patch also extends the game's day/night cycle, gives players the ability to immediately compare new items against those they have equipped, and fixes "over 100 bugs." The game's new classes include Mercenary, Shaman, Druid and Scout characters.
Ubisoft notes that downloading the patch is as simple as firing up your Steam client and allowing Valve's digital distribution platform to pull down and apply the update. Keep in mind however, that due to the number of changes in this patch Ubisoft warns players that save files created prior to the patch may no longer function.

London, UK - October 8th 2013 - Today, Ubisoft announced that the first update for Might & Magic® X - Legacy Early Access is now available. Based on the players' feedback gathered through the Might & Magic® X - Legacy Open Development process, this update includes a large list of enhancements, from the extension of the day & night cycle to the integration of an item comparator.
This new update also gives access to 4 brand new classes: Scout, Druid, Mercenary and Shaman.
Might & Magic® X - Legacy is a video game project that initiates an intensive process of cooperation between developers and gamers. This first update is the perfect demonstration of this close cooperation and of its consequences on the game's evolution. Indeed, as players get access to a game still in development, they are able to give their feedback so developers can take them into account to deliver the best game possible. Despite the Early Access contains bugs and does not represent the final game's quality its main objective is to give players a first glimpse of the project while letting them participate easily to its development.
The Open Development launched this summer is also part of this Early Access process, which allows the development team to share its passion for the Might & Magic brand. The Open Dev Blog is the platform allowing Might & Magic® X - Legacy enthusiasts to participate in the game's development.
Might & Magic® X - Legacy is developed by Limbic Entertainment, an independent game development studio based in Germany and a third party developer for Ubisoft for almost four years.
Might & Magic® X - Legacy is an authentic solo experience in the classic first-person RPG genre, with a turn-based gameplay system. By creating and leading a group of adventurers in and around the exciting city of Karthal, by battling powerful mythical creatures while collecting ancient magical treasures, players will determine the fate of the Agyn Peninsula.
