Dec 29th 2009 1:18AM "I dunno... why buy so many games that they pile up?"

Personally, I know that if I don't buy them shortly after they're released, I KNOW I'll likely forget about them in many cases.
Some of them, though, I'm glad I waited on...like House of the Dead Overkill. I got that for $12 bucks! On the other hand, I paid full price for Dead Space Extraction...but I got the original Dead Space for $20.

I need to not buy as many games this year! I started 2009 by doing that but around July I ended up on a friggin' buying spree again. Haha.

Rumor: Sony considered Larrabee for PS4, will reconsider for PS5, PS6 {Joystiq}

Dec 28th 2009 4:37PM "Current 360 games look good, i dont see any aging that you speak off."

If you go back to 2005 and well into 2006, there was no shortage of people (on this very site, no less!) who were saying that the PS2's graphics were still good enough and new hardware wasn't needed.

The point is that everyone always says...until they see new hardware. Then they (or most of them) quickly change their tune.

Dec 28th 2009 4:32PM Good lord people — he has 'troll' right in his screen name! Stop feeding him!

If I had a big fuckin' sign on my chest that read, "DON'T GIVE ME FOOD OR I WILL FOLLOW YOU HOME AND SHIT ON YOUR PETS" would you give me food?

Sheesh!

Dec 28th 2009 2:15PM I would pay money to know this kid's Gamer Tag.

. . .

STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEAN!

Dec 28th 2009 2:11PM Nah, it was already hooked up! Me and my brother basically just had to sit down and get started playing with it. I figured I'd probably do the same ting if I ever have kids...especially since these days you have to friggin' set up your consoles. I bet by next generation we'll be installing elements of the OS. Blech.

It had a bow and tag on it, too, for what it's worth.

Dec 28th 2009 1:34PM I hope this kid has many happy years of blasting things in the face.

I remember what it was like to be happy! Heck, I remember flipping out when I found an NES hooked up to the TV on Christmas morning when I was 5.

Dec 28th 2009 11:17AM Wow another awesome Nintendo download week?

I expect this to end starting next week and not start being awesome again until December 2010.

'Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril' could be the latest NES hit {Joystiq}

Dec 28th 2009 11:15AM Unfortunately they can't. Capcom isn't running the NES development software to make MegaMan 10 (or 9), which is why the game is, like, 30MBs or some ridiculously high file size. It wouldn't work on the NES, as awesome as that would be.

Dec 28th 2009 11:12AM Yeah, but I wanted MY Gameboy!

Ahh well...I guess it's time to head to eBay soon.
