Recording from Gamescom, Harmonix has issued a <a href="http://vimeo.com/14293335">video response</a> to the alleged <em>Rock Band 3</em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/19/rock-band-3-songs-leaked-by-video/">song list leak</a> from earlier this week. Three members of the studio appear on screen to discredit the -- wait a minute! <em>Is that the entire setlist scrolling in the background?</em><br />
<br />
Head past the break for the complete 83-track listing, as seen in Harmonix's tongue-in-cheek reveal.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/20/this-is-the-full-83-track-rock-band-3-setlist/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>This is the full 83-track Rock Band 3 setlist</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/20/this-is-the-full-83-track-rock-band-3-setlist/">This is the full 83-track Rock Band 3 setlist</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 20 Aug 2010 14:15:00 EST. Formerly known as <em>Guitar Hero 6</em>, <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/guitar-hero-warriors-of-rock">Warriors of Rock</a></em> promises the largest on-disc set list so far, with over 90 songs. Here's a look at the list of songs that have been announced to date.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/29/guitar-hero-warriors-of-rock-songs-setlist/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock's song list (so far)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/29/guitar-hero-warriors-of-rock-songs-setlist/">Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock's song list (so far)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 29 Jul 2010 13:00:00 EST. We'd like to congratulate Devo, David Bowie and Marvin Gaye for reaching one of the <em>highest</em> highs in the music industry. That would be appearing in a game with no fewer than three Taylor Swift songs: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/band-hero"><em>Band Hero</em></a>. The artists' featured hits are part of the latest batch of announced tracks -- all of which you can find after the break -- for the tweenybopper spin-off.<br />
<br />
Also, do we have any volunteers to dive into the belly of <em>Band Hero</em> and rescue the totally awesome "In a Big Country" <em>Saving Private Ryan</em>-style? It ... it doesn't deserve this.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/01/david-bowie-styx-yellowcard-and-others-join-band-hero/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>David Bowie, Styx, Yellowcard &amp; others join Band Hero</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/01/david-bowie-styx-yellowcard-and-others-join-band-hero/">David Bowie, Styx, Yellowcard &amp; others join Band Hero</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 01 Oct 2009 10:44:00 EST. Why, you may be wondering, does the <a href="http://investor.activision.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=399980">recently finalized</a> setlist for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/guitar-hero-5"><em>Guitar Hero 5</em></a> look familiar? Well, for starters, it looks a heck of a lot like the unofficial track list <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/08/unofficial-the-complete-guitar-hero-5-track-list/">we compiled earlier this month</a>. Like, <em>a lot</em>. Like, every single track that was on that list is on this one.<br /><br />Yes, the confirmed list of 85 songs (posted after the break) that will be featured in the next installment in Activision's rhythm franchise bears no surprises, except for the fact that it's <em>surprisingly</em> not terrible. <em>Song 2?</em> Elton John? Raconteurs? <em>Double Bowie?</em> Yes, please.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/30/activision-confirms-familiar-looking-setlist-for-guitar-hero-5/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Activision confirms familiar-looking setlist for Guitar Hero 5</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/30/activision-confirms-familiar-looking-setlist-for-guitar-hero-5/">Activision confirms familiar-looking setlist for Guitar Hero 5</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 30 Jul 2009 11:46:00 EST. Up until now, we've been uncertain about what tracks would be appearing on <em>Guitar Hero: Metallica --</em> though the educated guessers among us presumed that it would have <em>quite a few</em> tracks by its titular band. They were correct -- the news section on <a href="http://www.metallica.com/index.asp?item=601837">Metallica's official site recently revealed</a> the 28 tracks the rock outfit would be contributing to the game (PS2 and Wii versions will include three extra songs in lieu of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/09/08/metallicas-death-magnetic-album-for-guitar-hero-3-this-friday/">access to the band's <em>Death Magnetic </em>DLC pack</a>), as well as the extra tracks from "<span class="newscontent">some of the bands we admire and even call friends."</span> <br /><br />The full list is posted after the jump, and features our patented new Bold-O-Vision technology to point out the particular song we can't wait to croon without shame or self restraint in whatever social setting we happen to find ourselves in.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/24/metallica-reveals-full-setlist-for-guitar-hero-metallica/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Metallica reveals full setlist for Guitar Hero: Metallica</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/24/metallica-reveals-full-setlist-for-guitar-hero-metallica/">Metallica reveals full setlist for Guitar Hero: Metallica</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 24 Jan 2009 18:00:00 EST. We've learned of a few new tracks from <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/01/rumor-rock-band-2-partial-setlist-revealed-on-g4/">a slip-up on G4</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/03/rumor-more-rock-band-2-tracks-listed/">a tip from an anonymous playtester</a>, but even these substantial leaks only make up a drop in <a href="http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2008/07/03/rock-band-2s-80-tracks-set-to-be-announced-at-e3/"><em>Rock Band 2</em>'s 80-song bucket</a>. Luckily, <a href="http://www.8bitfix.com/forum/topic/show?id=2126028%3ATopic%3A4665&amp;page=2&amp;commentId=2126028%3AComment%3A5511&amp;x=1#2126028Comment5511">two sources who claim to know</a> <a href="http://loadingreality.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=668&amp;Itemid=48">the near-complete list of tunes</a> included in the title recently posted their findings -- though their own sources don't exactly inspire confidence in the accuracy of their supposed setlists.<br /><br />Though their information evolved entirely from hearsay, there's quite a bit of overlap between the two lists, lending some amount of legitimacy to this rumor. Some of these overlapping tracks include <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE11Zrrp24I">Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer"</a>, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sj_U6vObUA">The Presidents of the United States of America's "Lump"</a>, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5zFsy9VIdM">Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer"</a> (Qu'est-ce que c'est?), and a long overdue <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVngzaBsrSM">"Pump It Up" by Elvis Costello</a>. We've got both lists after the jump -- with a couple of weeks between us and E3, we'll be discovering the correctitude of these tracks soon enough.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/06/rumor-rock-band-2-setlist-leak-uncovered-by-two-sources/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Rumor: Rock Band 2 setlist reportedly discovered by two sources</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/06/rumor-rock-band-2-setlist-leak-uncovered-by-two-sources/">Rumor: Rock Band 2 setlist reportedly discovered by two sources</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 06 Jul 2008 19:00:00 EST. While <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/01/rumor-rock-band-2-setlist-leak/">we were already impressed</a> by the originally leaked list of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Rock-Band-2/" style="font-style: italic;">Rock Band 2</a> tracks, the latest leak has blown our collective minds. A thread on the Score Hero forums -- which has been <a href="http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10938&amp;highlight">locked and wiped by moderators</a> for apparent NDA violations -- listed a new set of tracks for <span style="font-style: italic;">Rock Band 2</span>. The listing comes from a user who claimed to have taken part in a play test of the game. It is plausable that the listing is legit due to the NDA violation discussion and subsequent moderation as well as the fact that the game is expected to be front and center at E3.<br /><br />As for the list? It includes such heavy hitters as "Testify" by Rage Against the Machine, "Peace Sells" by Megadeth, "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett and so much more. Jump in for the full listing, but make sure you're sitting down ... this one could knock you off your feet!<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/03/rumor-rock-band-2-setlist-leak-part-two/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Rumor: Rock Band 2 setlist leak, part two</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/03/rumor-rock-band-2-setlist-leak-part-two/">Rumor: Rock Band 2 setlist leak, part two</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 03 Jul 2008 13:00:00 EST. If a segment on X-Play is to be believed a partial list of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Rock-Band-2/">Rock Band 2</a></em> tracks have been revealed. One tipster snapped a photo from the popular G4TV show that listed several tracks, identified as <em>Rock Band 2</em> songs by a small "2" icon to the left of the track listing. The rumored tracks for <em>Rock Band 2</em> include:<br />
<ul>
    <li>"Panic Attack" - Dream Theater (or Finger Eleven)</li>
    <li>"Chop Suey" - System of a Down</li>
    <li>"Give It Away" - Red Hot Chili Peppers</li>
    <li> "Everlong" - Foo Fighters</li>
    <li> "Kids in America" - Kim Wilde</li>
    <li> "Ace of Spades" - Motorhead</li>
    <li>"Hello There" - Cheap Trick</li>
    <li> "Anyway You Want It" - Journey</li>
    <li> "Pinball Wizard" - The Who</li>
</ul>
It's notable that "More Than a Feeling" from Boston and "All the Small Things" from Blink 182 are listed and appear to have a different identifying icon. Considering both were downloadable <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Rock-Band/">Rock Band</a></em> content the icon could signify DLC or an originally released track. For now throw it in the rumor mill but were sure hope these tracks are final. Also, Pinball Wizard? <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/01/the-best-of-the-who-rock-band-tracklist-revealed/">What a great idea</a>!<br /><br />[Thanks, StLouisRibs7734.
