They're not being mysoginist/promoting violence against women or anything. Hell, the Hitman ad my latest Game Informer shows a violinist sitting in a chair normally until you realize that his eyes are blank and his neck has had a few garrote wires through it. It says "Classically Executed".

It's an ad campaign, and the only thing its promoting is a game. It's pretty clever, I might add. This is all a bunch of controversy over nothing.

Kate's article is something that I can agree with.Nowadays, there are more to video games than just the characters and the story.Advertising, publicity and other factors are involved now than more so ever. This picture offends me because it's a female that is treated like a dead "sexy" doll. There are implications of a sexual assult and murder, but how the model is posed and treated doesn't have to be this way.I'm one of many video gamer grrls out there and sure I play violent games, but the way games are being advertised now is none other than a idiotic and embarrassing attempt in my opinion(and besides,if they were to use anything else for a picture,I figure it would recieve more outrage than just using a woman. That just shows how narrow minded our society is when it comes to genders...).
