First off: Metroid Prime Hunters 3 is obviously wrong.

Second off: All of you arguing about shovelware while waiting for SMG, SSBB, MP3, and others obviously didn't read "check after the jump for even more DS releases." That long list is DS games.

Third: No amount of complaining from these posters will get me to put down the Wii remote for a PS3 controller. The 360 is decent, but it still doesn't change the fact that I've spent three times as much play time on the Wii as on the 360.

jesus christ you guys are just a mess. lemme just say this now before you guys have to predict what im saying and then criticize me away. I am a proud Wii owner. I absolutely cannot tolerate Sony, and the PS3.

Now i'm gonna go topic by topic explaining my views on the systems. MY OPINIONS, not yours. WARNING: very long.

I personally don't see a problem with delayed games. I know many people in the world [stupid people] imagine that the game is already made, but it's delayed because Nintendo just feels like delaying it. Then there are the people who make fun of it being delayed, followed by them calling it crap crap crap (which would be a waste of time because that's basically why they are delaying it). But you see, when it is August 20, and MP3 comes out, then the whole delayed topic goes away, because its here. That's why i think the delayed games criticism should just die.

I think Nintendo got it right with the Godfather. I dont see how you can make a sequel to a game about a movie that doesn't exist, which is why they probably stuck to making a remake, and not Godfather 2. Also, after playing (and buying) the Wii version of the godfather, i could safely say that it is BETTER than the other systems. My friend www.gamerankings.com also believes me. ***I don't see a problem in remaking a game with newly added Wii Controls. I see a problem with remaking a game with poorly implemented Wii Controls.

What else to yell about??? uhh GRAPHICS. I cannot understand why everyday, PS3/xbox fanboys yell at me that the wii graphics suck. 1) The problem isn't that they are bad (because they aren't bad). The problem is that its not better. and (2) fanboys act like this is a surprise. NEWS FLASH! Nintendo put the same graphics because they knew it wasn't the graphics that sell, its the way you play it. Which by looking at sales, i couldn't agree more with.

-No it doesn't. In gamespot, the .1 difference between the two systems wasn't gameplay, it was sound, which i believe is absolute BS. The wiimote makes it easier to aim, instead of using analogs, which is clunky and slow.

Hehe funny. I could say the same thing about Final Fantasy XVXVMMCIXIVIXMIIVICIXMVIDXVID, but then, that would only be the equivalence to mario, because mario is awesome and has spare time. Enough spare time to play tennis, golf, baseball, plan parties, and fold into paper, and not write about how crappy games that haven't even come out are. Zelda and Metroid however could fall into the Resident Evil/GTA/MGS category, since they all have at least 6-10 games. Then again, there is nothing wrong with a sequel. The majority of highly anticipate games are sequels. Examples being Halo 3, Metal Gear Solid 4.

First off, throughout Nintendos history, they have been known to delay the release of games just to maximize profits. Hell, Starcraft 64 was delayed by a full 2 years just because they didn't want that release to cannibalize sales. WiiPlay is another game that kept being pushed out of months just to have something to sell. Or do you really think Mario Party 8 is "still being worked on." I mean, hurray that we get Super Mario Strikers in two and a half more months but Europe gets it in three fucking days. I mean, hell. You want evidence, Nintendo has issued cease and desist letters to import shops in Europe for selling US copies of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl in a region they delayed the games release just so that game sales don't cannibalize each other. Now how much is a finished game and how much isn't IS something to debate. But what ISN'T debatable is that fact that Nintendo has a history of holding back games and there are several titles in the Wii lineup that should be out right now.

Of course this wouldn't be a problem if the console WAS region free like Perrin Kaplan promised but hey, do you think Nintendo would actually release control of their biggest money making feature? Region locking? Meanwhile, if my ass gets bored on PS3 with US releases... HEY, LOOK! Play-Asia!

I understand that it's a new console and we have to offer leeway in some regards. I also understand when I'm being lied to and I receive a game two and a half months after when I should receive it just because Nintendo needs a fucking carrot to dangle in late July.

Anyway, here is my point. At the time Godfather got repackaged for Wii, it was $50. At this same time, I found a CE of the game for Xbox for $7 in the plastic. I wouldn't mind Ubisoft's response to my concerns regarding Prince Of Persia Wiggle Edition if it wasn't for the $50. Capcom is in a step in the right direction with RE4's price of $30. But DON'T hand me a 2-3 year old game with tacked on Wii controls and tell em how great it is now. You do that and I simply wait for the game to hit $20 regardless. Wait, EA game... against my religion to support them anyway. Sorry guys, but two of my friends USED to work at DICE.

Actually, I didn't mention graphics. You did. And while we have this particular can of nuts open, care to explain to me why Farcry looks MUCH, MUCH better on the fucking Xbox than the Wii? Or my Wii's graphical showcase is still RE4, a fucking Gamecube game? As we're winding down PS2s life, we should NOT be having side to side comparisons with Nintendos latest. There is no doubt in my mind that Wii can do more but Nintendo is hardly pushing it, are they? This whole "graphics don't matter" line has been nothing but a crutch and an excuse to not even TRY so far. I mean, yes, graphics aren't the only thing but when FarCry on Wii has the same muddy textures that plagued N64, there IS a problem. And while graphics are not the only thing that make a game fun, they are a pretty big part of the experience. Nintendo has been doing only just enough to get by for years now (Gamecube and Xbox are comparable to each other.... BUT RE4 is the only title that proves this). I mean, hell, do you honestly think if there was a competitor to Pokemon, we would still be seeing single framed portraits as sprites in Diamond and Pearl? Every flying creature in that game apparently accomplishes that shit with levitation.

As someone who makes his living doing graphics for real-time programs, this notion that my field and I are not important is insulting. And I promise you this. Once Wii gets some games that actually ARE lookers, this whole "graphics aren't important" shit would be gone. Because Wii only has two huge handicaps. RAM and Raw power. Once companies start finding their way around those two issues, we WILL see great looking games.

Thank you for diversifying your lineups with Rebirth, Riqa, Pendant Chase, Earthbound 64, Thornado, among countless others.

Point? Just because it's announced doesn't mean it will be released. And likewise, just because it LOOKS good doesn't mean it will be good. I'm trying to remain optimistic but I can't help but think Nintendo still feels the burning sting of their Eternal Darkness and MGS: Twin Snakes efforts. I guess they only are Too Human.

also I believe it would be physically impossible for me to bury myself, unless I only did it partway. I guess I could also build a machine to do the burying. I wouldn't technically be burying myself, but I will have built the machine, so the principle would be the same.

I do have to jump in here. As someone who hates a car series gimmicks being "xB is a rectangle, xA is a triangle amd tC is an elipse" I can say Scions suck. I have a friend who bought an xB and hates it when I say he would have come out the deal richer if he just took my refridgerator box and put wheels on it.

Although I do have to say I'm eager to get out from my Cobalt LS and into a Saturn Sky or Pontiac Solstice.

I actually know nothing about scions and only said they suck ass because someone said they were good and I was being stupid. But now I DO hate scions, because longshotx loves them, like he loves playstation 3.

Jack, I'm paying $319.19 a month but on a five year. They also took the "Spectre that wanted desperately to die" off my hands before I got stuck with it. Sadly, the Spectre still had two years left and the value of the car didn't match the principle. So that got added to the loan. Once I'm green on all my credit cards, then I'll look into the Sky (the one I'm favoring right now) because, by then, they should not only be beyond the initial run issues my Cobalt is having but principle should match closely to value. Of course, all this is dependant on whether or not I'll buy a house first.
