Didn't preorder Killzone 2? Your time to try the game out has finally come. Unless you've already grabbed it from the European store, that is. Other than that, there's plenty of downloadable content, a new episode of Pulse and a Killzone 2 video guide. PSP owners have a new game, some DLC for Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? and some new themes.

The demo only takes about 4-5 min to beat, so its very short. Cant wait for the full game tomorrow!

yeah and that includes the intro cut scene + the initial drooling you do lol.

very short demo for sure. i played through it multiple times though. i was playing it like a time trial almost earlier this month lol. gonna be a great game. i wasn't going to go pick it up until i went to work on Saturday since i preordered it in my college town and not where i commute from and i dont have class on Friday but i may have to just make the trip. i must have this game.

Prinny is a really awesome game and completely different than the RPG grind fest Disgaea. It's like a 2-d hack and slash action game.

it is an RPG grind fest. Prinny is great though. real hard too. i'm only half way through and they already have DLC available. wow. now, where the hell is my valkyria chronicles DLC?

The Killzone 2 demo is very very very short, but it's still amazing. I've played it pretty much once a day till today. I'm gettin the full game 2nite at midnight!

well i already have the demo from the EU store so the KZ2 demo is nothing new. however HAWX does intrigue me, if some lowlife wasn't piggybacking off of my network, i'd probably be able to play it tonight, but i have to wait till probably next week (KZ 2 is gonna suck my life). hopefully i'll be able to find a KZ2 copy in stores 2morow to even buy since i didn't preorder......

How can I create a Password for my D-Link router? I have like 6 people from my block on my router, and i'm not internet tech savvy :(

my router is insanely old, it only has WEP protection. and for gettting a password type in 192.168.1.1 into the command line (i think) of a webpage and then it'll take you to your router page where you can edit the settings. also look up on the internet the instruction manuel for whatever you might have. i wasn't tech savvy for routers when i started but i sure learned a lot lol

You guys shouldn't have let me get Puzzle Quest: Galactrix (on PC) first. I'm hooked on that now.

Meh. Nothing really interesting this week. There's the Killzone 2 demo, but everyone who cares has already played the EU demo.

Maybe this will stop people from complaining about the exclusivity on that there demo. How many people got to try KZ2 for the first time tonight?

I wonder if Gamestop over here is doing a midnight release? Won't matter though, I left my bag at work tonight so I can't call in sick tomorrow like I had planned >:0

There is only one in my entire area doing a midnight release and it is like 1.5 hours away so way to far to go and drive back for that. I think I'm going to leave work early to play it. I haven't been this hyped for a game in a LOOOONG time. I'm wishing I had pre-ordered it on Amazon like I did Gears 2 because I got that one a couple of days early. Oh well ... Tomorrow will be here soon enough.

think i'll grab the killzone 2 demo, i would have tried hawx but now i'll be busy. i should try getting a new hard drive the warhawk sale is calling me

HAWX is worth it. Believe me. And why KZ2 Demo now? I mean, u guys are lucky to get it tomorrow >_> And demo was available 2 or 3 weeks ago.

warhawk for that price is a bargain. and the DLC is worth it. the jetpacks were insanely fun. just don't think you're gonna get a platinum on it any time soon.

didn't make an EU account. i really want warhawk now but i want to up my hard drive first. hawx should have come out last week when it had a better chance of getting noticed, as it stands i didn't even click it for it to be in my download list.

Buy Warhawk now and then download it when you upgrade your hard drive.

It's the same thing I do with limited time free content for games I don't own yet. I start it downloading, and then cancel it. When I do get the game that content is still on my download list.

I'm pretty tired of new games...

Killzone 2 is so damn beautiful. I just hope the full campaign is good from start to finish and that they add that post launch co-op patch one of the developers recently hinted at. The gameplay felt good in the demo but the aiming didn't feel that precise. I'll have to play the full game and decide for myself if it deserves that high metacritic average. Speaking of which the game really leveled off when the second wave of reviews came in. I was surprised to see it fall from a 95 n metacritic to a 91 overall. Not that it's a bad score but it kind of surprised me to see it drop down 4 points on the average.

Blame Edge

That Edge review is one of the worst of all time.
And i don't buy the old "their reviews mean 5 is average, so its above average" crap, they still read like tired old movie critics whining about lack of story and voting down films like Independence Day, or similar flashy yet enjoyable action stuff.

Well.. too bad almost everybody already got their copy of the demo from EU account. (I did) Killzone 2 was out at a local store in my area. I got my copy today. The demo is not that great but the full game is awesome! Graphic/Sound is amazing. The game play so far I'm satisfied. I know that the static/buggy menu is done on purpose, but it's a bit annoying at times. I thought call of duty had a great control setup and I wish they had the exact same layout for this game, but still it's great. I havent played the single player mode yet. The game seems like 9.5/10 to me and you're talking to a guy who thinks MG4 was a 8.5/10. But then again, it's all IMO and I like FPS more than TPS. I think I will call in sick tomorrow. It's amazing that theres so many people online right now from my area (Westcoast). By the way, don't judge this game from the demo.

The COD4 controls are in there, switch to alternate2.

Did the price of the COD4 map pack drop by half? Anyone else notice that?

yep. It's not the first time. I got it the last time they had the half-off.

i wish all sports games where as solid as The Show. maybe i would start playing them again like i used to. i used to buy Live and Madden every year but it got stale after i realized it was just a roster update year in and year out and most of the same glitches were still there release after release.

I'm hoping to give it a try by tomorrow night, but I'm not expecting anything special. The Show might be very similar to last year's game, but it's just improved enough with the tweaks to gameplay, animations and aestetics, and features added. I've just gotten the impression that 2K is clueless when it comes to baseball games since back when I rented MLB 2K5 (I believe that was the year I first tried it, and I've played the demo each year feeling like it's a joke).

From what I heard, Tim Lincecum suggested improvements to the team when he visited for Mo-Cap. That's the first I've ever heard of someone doing that. Usually you hear about how excited they are and they're usually so complimentary of the product. So to me, Lincecum's alleged criticism to the dev team just shows how clueless they are.

Also, did anyone notice that the icon for the MLB 2K9 demo is actually the one for MLB 09 The Show? Oops!!!

I have had the demo for a couple weeks and played through it a bunch. The graphics are some of the best on the PS3 but far from that rendered CG Trailer from E3.

Nonetheless.....a big improvement over the 1st KILLZONE.......I am peeved that the demo was not the multiplayer as I am sure there will be bugs for them to iron out (What PSN Network game hasn't had bugs?)

can't wait to try it out--too lazy to set up a Euro account.

Its funny cause Australia got it before US.
