Nintendo files US trademarks for Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver [update]

I personally am glad that they have finally chosen to remake G/S into a new 3D format. My comments on the Wi-Fi stuff, it sucks, because I would rather just have it all and have only special Pokemon Events that I have to attend, not go to like the nearest Starbucks or something just to pay like $5 for a couple minutes on my DS regarding some bloody stuff I want to check out in the Wi-Fi Zone. I mean, I know Nintendo obviously has to make money, but they are still practically the top leading electronic industry in the world, can't they cut their customers a little slack?

Nonetheless, I am extremely happy that this release is happening and I can't wait to play it!
I might be 13 years old and about to be getting a job over the summer, but still, playing the classical game from my childhood never gets old. I first started thinking about a G/S remake when I downloaded the VBA Emulator on my computer to play Pokemon Shiny Gold Version(Credits to Zel, Thanks Man!). The skateboard thing sounds kind of cool, especially if it FINALLY replaces the bike, that routine throughout the games got kind of old. I just hope that someday the will make some sort of Pokemon game where you can travel between the 4 regions, I wouldn't even care if they made it so the Pokemon could go up to the level 1000 (Actually, that sounds pretty good now that I think about it).

Sooo..... will we be able to get all our pokemon directly onto one card somehow?? Will we have to trade between DP and GS or will there be a transfer via Pal Park type thing(I don't know how though cuz it's a DS card.)?? And will GS be able to recieve DP monsters or is it only aloud to go from GS to DP?

I've been waiting for a remake of the gold and silver ever since the ds came out they were like the best games

I'm so glad the awesome people at Nintendo decided to remake Pokemon Gold and Silver. They were my all time best childhood game and in my opinion the best game of the entire Pokemon series. The only negative point I have to say was that I was a bit disapionted when I had got all of the badges from Kanto. I felt that Nintendo Gamefreak should have included a Kanto Pokemon League with the original Elete Four. I hope they do it this time in Heart Gold and Soul Silver. What would also be good if all regions could be accessed, it would make catching them all that little bit easier. To my eternal shame I have never been able to fully complete a Pokedex. I also have a small worry of wether or not the remake will hit the UK as I have heard only of release dates for Japan and America.

How about Red and Blue and Silver and Gold and Crystal and Ruby and Sapphire and Emerald and Leaf Green and Fire Red and Diamond and Pearl and Platinum all in one cartridge... please? Kinda like the Metroid Prime Trilogy.

oooooooohhhh i've been saying that for years now!!! they should totally make all of the regions accessible in one game that would make it so fricking kick ass!! >o< it would also be pretty cool if they were to have all of the different Pokemon Leagues in the same game, it'd probably take you a really long time to finish it all but who gives a damn!! they might not have the female choice looking the same but maybe her name is still Kris...nah it wouldn't be the same. :( oh does anybody know if they'll still have the ?Unown? pokedex?

I would still buy the games on Sept 11 if they came out on that date in America. Everybody should stop bringing it up because the widows ,children ,and firends of those lost on that day have their wounds ripped open year after year from the media coverage of it, which was discussed about on Oprah awhile back. In fact ,having something like Pokemon would lighten up those children and give them something to really enjoy.

well i think they read my message from www.gametalk.com but its gone now i said it pokemon black heart and pokemon white soul then i think they got an idea to change it to pokemon heart gold and pokemon soul silver thats why they revive it poor me i hope they put my name into the thanks ending in the game
