"could be as unexciting for you as it with for us from a gameplay standpoint"

Replace "with" with "was".

Eeeeh, grammar nazi, ya ya, but I figure they like to keep up professional appearances. :)

I dont think it counts as "nods" to the book when it basically is the book

Game looks better than I thought it would but still doesn't look good and i will never touch it (why the hell make a video game of it anyway). Movie looks amazing though.

Don't be so mean, guys. It's Where The Wild Things Are. There's no need to even give it a pass, for it is a pass in itself.

I want to go to the library so I can read the book now and go back to a time when school was fun and people never...

*whimpers*

punched me.

*cries*

I'm kind of confused as to what playing a video game (like this one, at least) has to do with your imagination.

You need whatever imagination you can muster to make another generic movie-tie-in platformer interesting to play.

I LOVE WTWTA, but this game looks suspiciously weak. It's a shame, they could have some fun with it and made it at least interesting.

I can't wait for this movie and I just might give the game a chance, too. This remains one of my favorite books of all-time.

You mean lame of the year. Heyo!

I know that's awful, I couldn't resist.

On a serious note: is nothing sacred? What's next, the 3 Billygoats Gruff? Or the pokey little puppy movie?

Please let this game share the same awesome acoustic soundtrack as the movie.

Arcade Fire and Yeah Yeah Yeah's acoustic re-records FTW.

I loved the book as a child and I cannot wait for the movie. I dunno about the game. I may rent it for the nostalgia.

I'll end up getting this because I'm such a sucker for this property. I have three copies of the book (my original, one for my daughter and an audiobook) plus I'm currently making my own adult sized version of Max's monster costume for Halloween.

For all you people wondering where the imagination part comes from it comes from the book that is the whole point of the whole book. I loved the book when I was a kid and is still my favorite book I ever read unless Xbox Magazine counts for a book. Also the movie looks great dunno about the game though.

Nice to see the trailer only shows what appear to be XBox 360 graphics. I'd like to see what it looks like on the Wii. Don't think it'll be quite as nice-looking. And from that trailer, I'm on the fence with this one, even for the 360.
