Seamless buying of DLC content? GOOD
Buying of weapons and items? BAD

Take a lesson from EA Peter, please!

How about giving legit buyer a code or credit for a few extras. The first DLC for free? That would frustrate pirates and reward buyers that pay full price. Second hard buyers would have to pay for the code.

This is an example of why my gaming time has decreased significantly over the past 2 years. In place of gaming I have switched to learning to play an instrument. 2 solid years and still going strong. I may never be in a band (who knows) but I feel much better about putting in hours playing the guitar than I ever did playing games (which are fun, obviously, but I always had that slightly guilty feeling of wasting the time).

In any case, I still game, but nearly as much. So, those of you who do not agree with the direction the industry is going in should look at cutting down on the gaming and try to fill the time with another hobby.

Exactly what some are doing. It's a phenomenon called Gamer Drift.

I have literally never said this before but really: If this is true I will not buy the game.

Speaking of DLC, what ever happened to Fable 2: GOTY edition in the US? Is it ever coming out here (out in UK, I believe), or are we just getting the game broken up into those downloadable parts?

maybe peter is just talking about extra little ad ons you can purchse like a couple of exclusive wepons of some sort and u can still buy wepons in the game as normal but if u want to be a little different you can purchse these ad ons for a little fee. and as for new areas there probally like knothole glade dlc just to purchese ad ons to accsess new areas/quests within teh game instead of going to the marketplace and messing about.

i loved all fable games and i will be buying fable 3 for definate. i might buy some ad ons just for fun and i will definetly buy the area dlc of course

Wow, Peter Molyneux... Bad move. This is going to turn a lot of people off. Paying to travel to areas??? An in game shop that costs real money?? Have we gone completely insane? I have a premonition I'll be doing the same thing with Fable 3 as with 2... PASS!
