Just make sure your Omaha Steak Filets are properly cooked, or you will become a 'Splosion Man.

About time, I had to force my friends to play with me clear co-op locally (I am no longer friends with those people), but online was so laggy. Also, really glad the avatar unlockables are available, I was afraid microsoft changed their mind on this.

Are you no longer friends because of Splosion man?

This is great, I really wanted to finish the multiplayer but it was just too laggy at times.

Hrm. I was hoping for a steak for my Avatar to hold. Not sure why, though.

Probably because I live in Omaha, and Omaha Steaks is about 15 minutes away.

Good start, but it's shameful that more games don't have avatar awards already (ODST, I'm looking at you!) Then again, since most of the people in Redmond who were actually making smart 360 decisions have left the company since 2005, so I'm not really surprised.

I went into Splosion Man this morning to get my shirt. I didn't play multiplayer, due to lag, so I didn't get the second shirt.

I don't believe you're required to equip the gamerpic, just download it.

I guess you can't tell Omaha Steaks are complete overpriced garbage if you are already on fire

Avatar awards will be the only way I will get any extra avatar clothing. More games need this feature, but it does go against Microsoft's typical policy of ripping off customers. I guess we will not be seeing much of these rewards.

This Omaha Steak partnership is kind of disturbing, seeing as all the steaks you see in the game are MAN MEAT.

How is this frontpage material? Does this mean we're going to see news items for every Home clothing update on the frontpage? Home and Avatar stuff like this should stick to the Playstation and Xbox sections, I think.

It's front page news because it's the first game to support the Awards system.

'Splosion man is awesome. Everything about it deserves the front page.

Home is not awesome, therefore nobody really cares about seeing it's shirts.

So just out of curiosity...how do these Awards get tracked? I saw the "Awards" section in the pop-up menu (just below "Achievements").

Is there a similiar list as would be expected in the Achievements menu?

I don't know, but I just had to open up the game for the glass breaking one to tick off. I assume you'll get a notification from now on, like it did when you got the theme and gamerpic.

hey, is this the only game with Avatar Awards so far? I saw L4D2 is going to have them, but do any other games currently also have them? I googled it and it seems it's all in beta, couldn't find a list anywhere. Thanks...
