God of War Collection porting 'lasted 15 weeks'

Definitely the Team Ico games.

Both are stunningly beautiful, and wonderfully enjoyable - if they could effectively boost it to 60fps and smooth out the graphics a bit, it would be marvellous.

Instead of simply putting back PS2 backward compatibility as Sony themselves promised when the PS3 was launched, they just going to have people re-buy their PS2 games, and all the fanboys are eating it up. This is ridiculous.

FFX is my most wanted PS2 game to be upgraded. If anything, it'd be the minigame trophies that I would dread. Effing butterflies, chocobo races, and lightning strikes!!!

To be honest, the games I would most like to have on one blu-ray would be the original Ratchet and Clank games. Having them all on one disc would make it so much easier, but I just imagine it costing so much :(

And although I did not like SOTC, I must admit that I'd like to see it in HD. It would be absolutely gorgeous.

Unfortunately, if this succeeds, and more companies port their PS2 titles in HD for PS3, there'll be absolutely no incentive for Sony to bring back PS2 emulation, and along with it antialiasing or HD-res PS2 games.

GoW HD Remix made me stop hating my 40GB PS3. Best Sony exclusive by far and probably the best game of it's genre all time.

15 weeks? The are fools if they don't go straight down the PS2 best seller list and remake the whole top 20. Didn't MS spend that long just on BC updates for one or two games?

i really want to see shadow of colossus, with a tone of AA and 1080p please!
i missed this one from the ps2 era and the huge amout of aliasing/framerate discouraged me from playng it on my PS3.
Ico is different because the game didnt age that bad, thanks to the graphical the style of the game. But why not if its with Shadow and cheap ;p
And with the next game comming soon, i really like to play it in HD.

I really like to see a MGS 1 hd remake, but that not sony.

if sony does more PS2 collection then please, think about us who got 1080p set, and this day almost all tv are 1080p, hd ready is a thing of the past.

And this game, PS2 HD remake, should be on the PSN store too. I really like the option to install my game on the HDD and not to have to insert the dvd, like the PSN games. Its a blast to launch game like that.

About HD remake i think developer, and publisher should really pay attention to that, and with digital delevey in mind.
In movie we see alot of remake, and in gaming they never do that.
I think one of the best exemple of that was Resident Evil 1 remake on the gamecube ! This game was a huge sucess for a remake of an old game.
Im not ready to pay 60$ or even 50$ for an HD remake, 40$ if the job is done right why not.
And i think from now on, developer and publisher should keep this in mind for futur remake. Maybe in a few years some of us are going to want to replay or discover god of war 3 with a next gen twist (PS4) and so they should keep asset, or code, everything that would ease the process.

I want a Gran Turismo collection, with GT 3 and 4. A Final Fantasy collection with X, X-2, and XII, a Dark Cloud collection with DC 1&2.

On the Xbox front, I want a KotOR collection, with a COMPLETED KotOR II, a Battlefront collection, and a new Conker.

mgs and gta ps2 games please.

I'm hoping for Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Aside from the God of War collection those were the games I missed last generation that I found most appealing.

Just put in my pre-order for GoW collection. Amazon trade ins + video game credit from Uncharted 2 = free game.

I'd like to see some PS1 games in HD too. The first 3 Spyro games and the first 3 Crash Bandicoot games especially. Spyro in particular was already one of the best looking PS1 games, imagine what it'd be like in HD. Seems pretty unlikely though.

what I haven't been able to find is a screenshot comparison of the originals side by side with the remastered version.maybe even a video side by side would be killer. I'd like to see that before plunking down the cash! Anyone else? Or does anyone know where I can find that?

Just watched the GoW collection trailer off PSN. Now I'm having second thoughts about purchasing this. They claim it's been remastered in HD, but the majority of textures looks like crap....meaning the "remaster" completely omitted the textures. Even the life bar graphics looks underwhelming with jaggies.
