that's looks pretty fluid and fun. i've never tried any of these bit.trip games on wii-ware.

what would be a good one to purchase that's already available?

Evey game has different gameplay mechanics... but so far, my favorite is Bit.Trip Core... I love the gameplay and the soundtrack. It can be pretty difficult at first (well, not difficult, but you need time to get used to the patterns) but once you can see the patterns, it is very hypnotic.

I have read some reviews about Bit.Trip Core, but this one is exactly what I think and feel about the game.

Bit.Trip.Beat is my favorite, but my friend's favorite is Bit.Trip.Void. As you can see, opinion is all over the map! Personally I think Core has the best visuals, Beat, has the best music, and Void has the best mechanics (though also the trickiest to figure out). But at $6 each, try 'em all!

I wish they showed a trailer that actually showcased the music matching the level. You know, since it's the draw and all.

Well spotted, indeed. That's probably the most creatively hidden swastika I'll ever see in a video game.

Though the swastika design originates from the Shinto religion of Japan, which I'm guessing is the influence here. ;)

@ king
your right, i think it was originally meant to represent peace
or something like that. but we all know how it was mis-used
way back when.

All it needs is more than 9 levels and it wins in my books.

Speed and reaction-time-based platformer, eh?

I think i'll check this one out when it rolls around. If i can fit it in, anyway.

I wasn't sure how good this would be, especially after Void which was good but not as good as Beat and Core. I have to say though, I'm extremely excited for this game. The music at the end of the trailer was awesome, also.

Reminds me of Canabalt a bit, but really makes me want Vib Ribbon. I probably would have gotten a PS3 instead of an Xbox 360 if I could play Vib Ribbon on it.

Just pointing out that this is modeled off of Pitfall! for the Atari 2600.
