The Sly Cooper Collection will be revealed tomorrow as part of the Sony press conference. A blurry image on 1UP, taken at the as-yet-unopened PlayStation booth, not only announces the title but also touts 3D support as one of its key features. An independent source confirmed to Joystiq that Sly Cooper Collection is very much a real thing, and that other PS2 HD remixes are likely to be seen during the show.
It seems like we can cross at least one box off our bingo card.

No, an odd time to mention it would be tomorrow, when it's supposed to be mentioned. Now's the cool time to mention it.

This is amazing. I never had a chance to play through all of this series, and I always wanted to.

Its owned by EA not Sony. I wouldn't doubt it that Medal of Honor gets remastered for PS3 as Frontline Assault is the best MOH game on the PS2 before it got ported to Gamecube and I believe Xbox. I wonder if Rising Sun and European Assault would get ported as well.

THIS IS AWESOME but....
I think Sly 1 needs a complete remake. It's very different playstyle-wise from its sequels. Regardless, this is AWESOME news.

I would prefer a new Sly Cooper game, but seriously I'm not complaining here. I can't wait to see how cleaned up it looks on the PS3.

That's awesome. This + a Team ICO Collection/Remaster would probably make me pass out from joy.
That's a thing, right?

Sweet Sony. I may pick this one up once I get a 3D tv in the near future. Now do this with Ratchet and Clank 1-3 and Jak and Daxter 1-X.

GAH!
I had just bought the whole trilogy on the PS2 a month ago and haven't even played it. Guess I should sell 'em.

I wanna see all the R&C games, all the Jak/J&D games, even FFX/XII, MGS 2/3, KH/KH2, THPS2/3/4, the Twisted Metal games, Xenosaga Ep. 1/2/3, Ico/SOTC, and more!

About a year and a half ago I bought all three of the Sly Copper games for $9.99 each NEW at Best Buy. One of the few trilogy's I've completed 100%. These games are awesome!!!

I've got to say that to me this is more exciting than the God of War Collection. These games are going to look great in HD. I just really hope that it's laying the groundwork for a new Sly game just in the way the GoW Collection did for God of War 3.

I'd also like to add that I think PS2 collections are an awesome thing. I'm really excited for them. There are so many great games on the PS2 I never got to played, like SOC. And I tried to go back to playing them, but I hate the PS2 interface after using the PS3's. Everything on the PS3 is just so smooth, I am now too spoilt.
However, this way I get to enjoy these amazing games, with HD graphics, *and* with the brilliant PS3 interface. IN HEAVEN.

I absolutely loved part 1, one of the best games of that era... never got to play 2 or 3... so I'm excited.
Kinda sucks that once again I'm going to have to wage war against that damn alligator chick though....

Couldn't happen to a better game series... I loved Sly Cooper, still do. As another said, bring on Sly 4! Nao!
I look forward to the other HD collections, as well... especially with talk of ICO/SotC getting the treatment and other possible first party candidates following the likes of GoW and, now, Sly Cooper.
