So in other words, it's good but.... The Playstation Move HAS no games.

can you settle this one question:
as a "light gun" is it as precise as the Wii? (or more?)

the trailers for "the Shoot" made it look like you had to move your controller around to strange places to effect on screen movement (* not how a light gun works/feels).

@WarrenEBB I'm pretty sure it works like a light gun, in that you can hold it pretty much stationary, and tilt it around to aim. I say this based off (a) the fact that it would be incredibly lame otherwise, and (b) in this video of RE5 with Move control, it appears to work that way: http://ps3.ign.com/dor/objects/734381/resident-evil-5/videos/e310_re5_move_gmp_061710.html

I'm thinking about getting this around release, and picking up Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition along with it. I loved RE4, but I couldn't bring myself to play it until the Wii edition was released -- I couldn't stand the original controls, which is why I haven't played RE5 to this point. Hopefully, playing with Move controls should make it as enjoyable as RE4: Wii Edition was.

Wow, this is real?

I thought for sure at any moment Sony was going to pull a "PSYCH! We're just joking, this is gay. Now feast your eyes on this real innovative product."

But nope... guess I'm wrong...

Pass.

If you ask me, the distance issues are pretty effing huge for something like this.

I think they should really put "Optimal playing distance" on the back of the box with the stats for Move exclusive games. Hell, any game that would need more than 4-5 feet would be nearly impossible for me to play anywhere without completely rearranging a room every time I wanted to play. :/

@Evi1Genius

"trumps Nintendo's creation in every respect, from its ACCURACY (even MotionPlus can't match it) to the quality of its vibration feedback."

Winner!

take your fanboyism somewhere else, troll.

@cuda010
I have tested the Move controller myself, so i can disagree with the reviewer if I want.

like i said before its vibration is not much better, its accuracy is similar except the part where u have to keep adjusting the camera. Thats my view so I disagree with that quote.

But obviously you will believe anything a reviewer says...troll.

@Evi1Genius

ya, I call shenanigans on your claim of being an early Move tester. Despite what your mom says, your not that special.

And do you really think Sony isnt going to come out with equipment that is better than the tech used by nintendo YEARS ago? Really? REALLY!? I have bad news for you fanboy, its called "progress", and its not going to stop.

And its not just this review, its EVERY review. I think the real story here is your beloved wii just became dated, and now your butthurt. Sony came out with with an upgraded version of Nintendo's controller and you cant stand it. LOL you sad sad little man...

I'll tell you why the Move controller is better than the Wiimote: it doesn't need an attachment to become a dildo, AND it has better vibration!

This article is dripping with fanboyism. I can't believe people are going to buy this shit. Come on,, the glowing light is just stupid. I for one don't want to be waiving around a glowing orb in front of my game. Not mention how guy it will look. I wife would be laughing her ass off..

Sounds cool, but the coffee table thing might be a problem in my house. I would consider getting this if the PS3 wasn't so expensive. It might do well, but I think Sony should have waited to implement Move into a new console. It's great though that games aren't locked to just the Move controllers though, like you can use either your regular controller or your Move controller. I still have to try the thing out for myself to really start saying that I like.

The issue scrolling through the xmb that this guy mentions in the review can actually be fixed quite easily. All, you have to do is calibrate your controller in the accessory settings menu. By doing this, the controller becomes much more sensitive to the player's movements and scrolling around the xmb menus becomes much easier.
