@Ellimem I share your feelings but I'm downvoting you anyway for posting that statement instead of just ignoring this article.

I think its too early to get excited about Diablo III, but it will be a ton of fun when it finally arrives.

This pvp looks way worse than the old PVP. What is this arena crap, I want, let's walk outside of rogue encampment and go right now punk.

Why are they trying to turn this into WoW? I'm becoming more and more disappointed with each new thing I learn about DIII

Attention whores like to watch movies they don't like just so they can tell their friends that they watched a movie they didn't like.

It looks like PC gaming has a chance to strive back to the top over the consoles over the next couple years.

@Razorlution Its great news. I think we will see PC gaming go up as these outdated consoles still continue to stick around and perhaps with dumbing down of games with these motion controls, the Wii affecting the "HD consoles", just like they affect PC gaming.

All this coverage and I'm fully expecting either no release date at all or something ultra vague like "Spring 2030" or simply TBA.

I want this so badly. I hate Blizzard's "release it when it's ready" motto, but I know that it's going to be more beneficial in the long run.

Their 'release it when it's ready' motto is the best thing about Blizzard. Be angry that they announce their games so damn early, not that they take their time to perfect them.

@Epoque

Yeah, that's why I said I know it's beneficial in the long run. I would rather no release dates for a long time and then a solid one as opposed to a "solid" one that gets pushed back repeatedly. Then we get Duke Nukem Forever all over again. I love Blizzard for not announcing release dates until they're more than likely going to be able to meet the deadline, but I hate the long waits. It's worth it in the end, though.

@Burnflare It will be hybrid like almost every Blizzard game, developed with both Mac and Windows in mind.

Good luck, its taking this long on a PC...cold-fusion or mass effect relays will see the light of day first.

Man, I really hope my older PC can run this. Big fan of the hack and slash genre, and there aren't many for this generation for console.

"For one, the games not fully balanced yet."

It will not be balanced for PVP as it will not be an e-sport.

From Blizzard:

"With almost 97 billion potential skill and rune builds, and then factoring in items, the talisman system, and traits, character balance isn't likely to lend itself to an eSport, and in fact the PvP for Diablo III has always been designed a side game intended purely for fun. We know you like killing each other, so that's what it's there to provide. "

I actually kinda wish that Diablo 3 was being split into three parts like SC2. I'll be in a rest home by the time that Diablo 4 comes out

P.S. anyone remember hero's quest? it is a super old board game that i used to play with my dad, Diablo kind of reminds me of it,

@Colostomeboy HeroQuest? I've not heard of Hero's Quest, but the other title is fairly common. Not that old though, only about 1990 or so I believe then a resurgence about five or so years ago.

Demon Hunter, dual wielding cross bows, that fire rapidly. Annoys me to no end. They should have said, "screw you swords & magic" and given the Demon Hunter 2 high caliber pistols / SMG's...
